First off, we went to the military surplus store, and my roommate bought me a couple of things. I bought a full EVA [ MGS3 ] outfit for myself, and he purchased a Big Boss jacket. He bought me this keychain butterfly knife above.
He also bought me this really pretty Soviet pin, because he knows about my love for Russia. x3
Next, we went Downtown to Little Tokyo, in order to eat at our favorite Japanese restaurant, Mr. Ramen. They serve massive bowls of super yummy ramen. Beef-Miso with lotsa been sprouts, happens to be my favorite. Jay loves the Chicken Bamboo ramen. Also, as it turns out, that day happened to be the Spring Blossom Festival in Little Tokyo.
Afterward, we got ice cream at this ice cream shop in Little Tokyo, where the guy that works there always flirts with me and gives me extra scoops of ice cream. xD
You eat the ice cream with little Japanese desert spoon things. This happen to be my favorite: a mix of green tea, sweet plum, and vanilla bean ice cream.
They finally filled up the fountain in the town square, which we ate the ice cream by. They always fill it up as a signal for the end of Spring. It's a nice little fountain.
After we finished the ice cream, we went to the Japanese grocery store next door, and bought some of our favorites....CALORIE MATES! x333
We also got some of our favorite grape and green apple candy, and of course, pocky. By the way, milk pocky is really gross. Dx
Next, we went into the mini-mall. Inside, near the back, is this Japanese anime-themed store, with lots of hideously over-priced things, including lots of perverted models and statues. >___>
This is one of the things that I saw inside...some figures from RE5. Sheva and Chris caught my eye. I tried to take pictures of this earlier, but the owners got mad for some reason and wouldn't let me, so I waited until they weren't looking, and snapped these. TAKE THAT, OVERPRICED JAPANESE PERVERTS! xD
There's a shop that's usually closed. Inside of this once closed store is a really cool little video game shop, owned by a bunch of friends. They have a puppy that runs about, that is super cute. The place is so awesome. They have lots of old games that are hard to find, and cheap versions of new games, that are now overpriced. One of the things that we found, was an original version of Biohazard 2. NOT EVEN RESIDENT EVIL 2...ACTUAL BIOHAZARD! In Japanese, of course. x3
One of the other things in this shop, were these awesome collector's chainsaw controllers made for Resident Evil 4. I'd love to attack a Dr. Salvador with one of these things. >3
Lastly, as we were walking to the car, I turned around and saw THAT ( the above picture ) standing in line for something. I totally freaked out ( in a good way xD ) and made my way over to him.
He did several Snake-appropriate reactions as I got photos of him. It was pretty much INCREDIBLE! x33333!

So, that concludes the photos of my awesome day. It was, in fact, pretty amazing, and I hope that I get to have another amazing day like that again, one day.
