Okay, so it's 2:37 in the morning... I stayed up reading manga for a really long time and was thinking about reading another but decided I was totally manga-ed out so the idea to write a story came to mind... I hope it makes sense, I'm kinda out of it right now and are listening to SpoonMan by SoundGarden... Okay, enough about what I'm doing... eek


The mirror reflected the image of that familiar stranger and for once I was content with it. My newly black hair thrilled me and I couldn't help but smirk in content. It was something I've always wanted to do but Mom didn't want me to. Now that she's gone on a business trip I know will take like a gazillion years to finish, I dyed my hair and used the plastic to buy some new clothes. My dark blue skinny jeans stretched over my legs and a tight zip-up hoodie wraps around my small frame. I don't care what others think, breaking the rules is awesome. I run my hand through my hair one last time and grab my messenger bag from the corner. Corie and Jona I know are waiting at the ice cream shop so I can't keep them.
Naturally there sitting on the table staring off in to space, no words spoken but as soon as Corie notices me he smiles and jumps up. His arms are strong as he holds me in a hug and chuckles. "What's so funny?" I asked. "You dyed your hair." he replied, "Personally I liked the short brown head you were." "Well. I was sick of being the typical looking girl around here." I replied, "Personally I love the color but don't worry, it's not totally permanent. It'll fade after sometime. I don't want my mom dying on me now."

"That's good." Jona muttered. "What was that?" I called over Corie's shoulder. "I said you look like a total hag that needs to get a life." she replied, giving me a strait face. Suddenly we busted into laughter and Corie released all of me but my hand. "So what are we doing today?" I asked, sitting down between them.

I don't know if I'll continue it...
