so basically i have nothing else to write about, i'm bored, i need cash, and i havent writtin in a while so i figured i better atleast write something.

so i decided to write about micheal jackson. a lot of people (kinda including me) are a bit like "yea, we get the picture; He's DEAD. get over it" but i think that it's being put on TV so much because he was so important; I bet if you got people to sit down and write a list of things that were world wide icons, one of them would be micheal jackson.Ever since i was born, the world always had aers rock (i hope i spelt that right), it always had the great barrier reef, it always had my mum, my dad, and my extended family. And the world always had micheal jackson. I'm not a massive fan of his or anything; i've never watched a live show, i had heard of only a few of his songs, and i'd never bought any of his CDs or put his music on my iPod. But all the same, micheal jackson was just THERE. he wasnt always in the news, he wasnt always writing songs or making a scene. It was like having a blue sky or sleeping in a bed or eating food. Micheal jackson was kind of a background part of all our lives, that even if you didnt worship him, you still knew he was there; even if you didnt pay any attention to him. In micheal's memorial service, One man (and unfortunately i don't know his name, but i wish i did because i think this was amazing what he said)

"I wanna tell micheal's children; there wasn't nothin' strange about your daddy. It was strange what your daddy had to deal with. But he dealt with it."

that really touched me for some reason. i think its because it was true. so many people thought he was strange. what, for making his skin lighter? people make their skin darker all the time with spray tan. Does that make them weird? and yea he had some work done. But if you look very closely and re-asses his face, you'll see that he doesnt actually look that strange, or bad at all, compared to some men who've had botox that i've seen and look like a male dolly parton.

i think the people who ridiculed micheal were people who couldnt judge by one's heart or soul, but only by actions and words, or looks. Shallow people thought micheal was a bad father just because they thought he was strange; just because they couldnt understand why he lived the way he did, or did some of the things he did. He did make mistakes that most people wouldnt, but only becuase of the pressure he constantly lived under. imagine being constantly ridiculed and gossiped about for over thirty years. And why? because people thought he was a freak, and they didn't stop to think that maybe they were the ones pushing him over the edge.

And i didn't realise how bad this was until the other day i heard two girls talking;

girl 1 "hey, did you know micheal jackson died?"

girl 2 "yeah, he died on the last day of term, didnt he?"

girl 1 "yeah, what a great last day of school that was!"

It made me think. And like his brother said "Micheal, maybe finally, they will leave you alone."
