Characters: Jaejoong, Heechul
Rating: PG-13 for alcohol use and swearing.
Length: Erm, drabble maybe? I'm not familiar with terms.
Word Count: 269. AKA super short.
Summary: Jaejoong is sick of being forced to pretend he's okay, and is contemplating leaving DBSK.
A/N:This is a very short thing I wrote while thinking about how hard it must be to be a star in the Kpop industry ;-; Random mutterings at the end.

The first thing Heechul noticed as he entered Jaejoong's apartment was the amount of alcohol. Half-empty bottles were scattered across the floor, leading to a very drunk Jaejoong.

"Jaejoong, I thought after you got that DUI you promised not to get drunk anymore." Heechul said softly.

"******** promises." Jaejoong gestured towards the computer screen. Heechul followed his gaze.

"Yunho's flirting with girls? So what? It's all an act for the cameras, honestly. He has to keep up his straight image for SM."

"Image?" Jaejoong laughed bitterly. "There is no straight image."

Heechul stared at Jaejoong, confused. "...What do you mean there's no image? We're all Lee Soo Man's puppets. We act how he tells us to, not how we really feel. Do you think I'd be so feminine if he hadn't ordered me to?"

"And I'm sick of it. The fanservice that we have to do when we honestly hate each other, do you think I don't see the revulsion in Yunho's eyes when he touches me on stage now? I'm not even sure why I haven't quit this job yet." He rose to his feet and unsteadily made his way toward the bed, not bothering to change out of his clothes before pulling the covers over his head.

Heechul quietly left the apartment. He was tired of having to pretend as well, but he kept his feelings inside, not wanting to trouble the others. People dreamed of making as far as he had. But with celebrities collapsing left and right from exhaustion, and only a select few even debuting after their hard trainee days, what was the point of dreaming anymore?

Random: I think Eeteuk would look really good with wings. I feel like writing a crack fic, maybe he wakes up one day and suddenly has them? Then he'd be an angel with wings. And Junsu could be a dolphin for a day too... *mind is running wild*

And is Heechul's feminism an image or not? I'm thinking that it's exaggerated (so he'd be more memorable) but how feminine would he be right now if he hadn't walked into the auditions that day?
I wonder where anyone in the entertainment business would be if they were never discovered.

We know that Kim Hyun Joong would be running a chicken shop >w<, and Se7en would probably be living in a strip club (he likes them girls, yo o__o)
Shisus would be a priest...Donghae would be a lifeguard (at the ocean, since there'd be fish.) Shindong would be starring in commercials alongside the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
