Day 18.5; Saturday, JULY 4TH

I just saw awesomeness being shot out of a rocket. ;D But I'll get to that later.

Started the day off realllly tiredly, so didn't go running. My parents were like...omg! Let's go picnicking and eat our McDonald's and Wendy's food! ;D

So yup yup, had some chili chips n cheese for lunch out by the lake. <3 Was nice. My mom put a plum and a bunch of cherries in a container, and my first reaction was...OMG! THAT IS A GIANT CHERRY!! The plum and the cherries were like the same colour and the same shape. xD;; It's totally a giant cherry.

After lunch, we went swimming, which was very nice. xDD;; I'm not sure if I got competitive or she did, but we raced back during a lap. xD Was quite lols. I almost ran into my mom a few times. She left after a while, so my family got ourselves the lane. ;D Later, I let my mom go all the way to the second pair of flags, her swimming breaststroke as usual. Then I beat her back with freestyle. xD So almost halfway. My butterfly was really dead today. D': It was...flop, flop, gasp, splat, flop, flop, gasp, splat. xD Very fail since I was uber tired. My mom learned how to open a shampoo bottle today! x'D She wanted to split the giant container of shampoo into the little empty bottle, but didn't think you could open it. I go...twist snap, voila! xD (not sure what's with all the onomatopoeia today. maybe it was the fireworks...) Yush, she had ANOTHER blonde moment.

Mostly played Ran, drew on iScribble, and did random stuffs until after dinner. My parents headed out fishing, so I headed out running. I ran like...my mile speed for 13 minutes or so, which is actually sorta tiring since there are so many hills. xDD I busted my hip and my lower legs are sore from the hills. :'B I got reallly sweaty. xD I had to put a paper towel down onto my hand when I wanted to draw, so I wouldn't get my tablet too wet. I was running around my room naked, since I didn't feel like taking a quick shower and having wet hair when it was so windy later on.

I came home and drew a little more, then my parents came home and we left for DOOM! The closer we got...the worse the traffic got. We didn't even make it to the pool area. xDD We sort of...parked in a random neighborhood and started walking. Walked 30 minutes, so probably a mile or so. Pri texted me and asked if I was there. xD A bunch of other kids were there too, but I didn't see a single one of them! It was realllly dark, since it was cloudy, all the street lights were out, and yeah. I was like...sitting in front of the wannabe lake (it's more like a pond on steroids...xD) A song came on (there was a concert event before the fireworks) and I was like...I wish my cow was here so we could be dancing like idiots. xD

Then the fireworks started! We did like a five second count down for it, which was cool. It was reasonably tame at the beginning. <3 They had a pretty heart one. I wanted to catch that on video, so I had to get almost the whole firework display until they showed another heart thingy. xDD Doesn't even look like a heart, but I thought it was cool. There was also this weird thing where they shot these fireworks up, and they were attached to balloons or something, since they just kept drifting and drifting, and wouldn't go out. o 3o;; You know how fireworks just buzz out after falling for a little? xD Very out of the ordinary! And people ALWAYS set off a lot at the end. xD By "a lot" usually you don't mean like half of the supply. o 3o; But that's deifnitely what they meant. You saw like...firework after firework go off. xD It was ridiculous~!

When we were walking there, we were already going faster than most cars. On the way back...we were going faster than ALL of the cars. xD We walked to our car, and were definitely going faster than the cars that totally weren't moving. Most people shut their car engine off at one point or another I think. Pri and them had a hard time, since they parked wayyy in there. While we were walking back, there was a weird dude that kept stopping and skipping and like going along the edge of the sidewalk. xD High, much?? He asked me the time, and I told him. My mom was being REALLY paranoid. She was like...gahhh, walk slower so he gets further away~! For a while, he like totally stopped to watch the cars. xD My mom was freaked out and she grabbed my arm to try and make me stop walking, but I kept walking. ._.; I mean, am I supposed to be scared of someone? After standing there to stare at the cars...he turned and immediately skipped off. xDD LITERALLY skipping. I really do think he was a bit high or something.

We got to the car and there was still traffic, if we got out onto the road everyone else was taking. D': So what did we do? We just kept on driving deeper and deeper into the neighborhood. xD We were going almost parallel to the other cars, but going a lot faster. We had to leave the neighborhood eventually, since it didn't go on forever, but we had saved at least 15 minutes already from that. Then, we turned onto some random street later on, which I think was the way Thing One and I were driven to that first Poolesville thing. xDD Basically, we were in the middle of nowhere. Got home after like 20 minutes or so, which is the usual time it takes to get back from the pool. ;D So we did pretty well!

My hip is busted, and my legs hurt a bit more, but I had a freaking nice time watching awesomeness being shot out of a rocket. ;D Though it was fun, I still missed all my besties. </3 Would've been ten times more fun if they were all there with me. Might've made the car ride a bit more interesting. xDD

Poor Pri was in the traffic for AGES! D': Hope she survived.

<3 I'm really thankful to all the people that helped fight for our independence like almost a trillion years ago and helped fight for everything else too. (CLEARLY not an exaggeration. xD) And also for those troops. <3 GOD YOU BETTER PROTECT THEIR HAPPY LITTLE BUTTS AND LAND THEM RIGHT BACK INTO THEIR HOME SOFA SAFELY SOMEDAY SO THEY CAN WATCH SATURDAY MORNING VEGGIE TALES AND 321 PENGUINS WITH THEIR BFFS UNDER A NICE WARM BLANKET, OKAY?? D: Because everyone has to do that at one point in their life.

I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding today, just for the heck of it. It was recommended/mentioned by MetalDevil from my CHIYB forum. x'D He was talking about how the father tries to cure everything with Windex. He had his elbow dipped in a bowl of Windex. :'B And the guy got baptised in a plastic kiddy pool thing. x'D Basically, you have a non-Greek guy getting baptised at a Greek church, therefore making him TOTALLY Greek, and able to marry the girl. xD (For some reason, Greeks just have to marry other Greeks, that's life! o 3o; ) Overall, the movie could've been made into a 10 minute Youtube fan video, but it doesn't really matter since I skipped through most of the movie anyways. xDD;; Yay for cheap Asian win.

Things have been pretty crazy. Due to that fact...I don't feel like doing my homework. Still have to read most of the Odyssey, that French book, and finish off a few more questions in the math packet. -very lazy-

I hurt inside today. D': Not my tummy, but like my chest. I think I'm suffering from CCWS. Cow contact withdrawal symtoms. D': Haven't been talking to cow much, so sorta missing cow. -noms on beef and sobs in a corner-

I'll stop being stupid and just go to sleep now. xD Yes yes.

The beach I was going to go to today had several people die from firework set up fail. DDD: -prays- GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN IN HEAVEN ALL~! (SEND ME A POSTCARD IF YOU CAN~!) So yeah...I'm really glad I didn't go there today. T^T;; Poor people.
