*cough* It was a year ago today that I clicked on an advertisement for this site and decided I needed a bit more of a life than I had. Little did I know how big of a move it would turn out to be. Seriously.
It's not so much the things that I've learned from the site, but the things I've learned and experienced from the people I've met on this site. I'm not going to go into detail, but it's been pretty important.
I met my second boyfriend/ first boyfriend who acted to some extent in his required capacity. Things have been interesting, to say the least.
I also met a very good friend here. That has also been very interesting.
Overall, Gaia hasn't been as important as the connections it has created. Sure, I love modifying my avi and playing the games. Surfing the forums and checking out the artists is also a lot of fun. There have been a lot of changes to Gaia, even in the short time I've been here. Some of the changes have been really cool, some have been unnecessary and some have been not so great. One of my favorite things on Gaia are the evolving items. I also like the monthly collectibles, or some of them, at least.
