Caitlin Spradlin.
1993-2009
June 22, a month after my Graduation from high school.
This night would change so many lives.
Destroy. Remold. Strengthen.
Her friends and family will have to learn to live without her.
Tonight, Caitlin Spradlin was thrown from her car on the way home.
She wasn't wearing her seatbelt.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tonight. Today. Forever.
In my faith, she is with God, in heaven. A better place than Earth will ever be.
June 24.
Today, I've seen blacks comfort whites, whites console blacks.
I've seen smiles hold back tears, and tears drown out smiles.
I've been, for the second time in my life, in the church my mother grew up in.
Caitlin Spradlin, as my cousin, means alot to me. She was always so much younger than her brother, my brother, and myself when we were growing up.
She's gone, and it hurts them, and that hurts me. She's gone, and that hurts me.
16 years. 16 AMAZING years.
This girl will be remembered,
forever and for ALWAYS.
