2nd day on the quest. whoooo.
Alannis isn't back yet, still down there in Poseidon's realm. Probably eating some seaweed-on-a-stick or playing volleyball with some dolphins.
Well we set up camp on the beach last night. Connor used some nature skills to make a 'tent'. Funny, because the tent was just a couple of sticks put together. Well, he's trying his hardest!!! He's not a mature satyr yet..
so Phelia and I mainly discussed the plan. Tomorrow we're headed to the underworld. I can tell that Phelia is excited to go down to the underworld.. but what the Oracle said to her is still bothering her, I bet. It kinda bothers me too.. It said, 'You will travel west, to the relm of your father. Four will go, and Three will return. The one you hold closest to your heart will let you down. You will beat the odds, and return back safetly but the problem will not be resumed.'
Pretty strange, right? I don't wanna know who won't be coming back to camp with the survivors, and right now it's best we try not to think about it.
Alannis finally rose out of the waves soon after lunch. What excited me was the big sack of weapons she carried!! Oh yeaaa!!
Now after saying 'Hi, welcome back to the dry surface!' we went to bed.
I lay on my back looking up at the night sky and the constellations, listening to Connor and Alannis steady breathing. I looked over at Phelia and found that she too was awake. We locked eyes and assured each other everything would be fine. I turned back to the sky, staring at the constellation Hercules, when I opened my mouth to say something to Phelia- but she just fell asleep.
I sighed. "Well," I whispered to myself, "I guess I'll just go to sleep then." and I rolled on my side and closed my eyes, and almost right away fell asleep.
In the morning we are heading to the Underworld. . .
