“Bou-kun…” A girls voice said from a few feet back. Bou spun around, surprised, and saw a short girl with choppy black hair, and a short, black and white summers dress with a jacket and leggings on. “Hi!” She said happily bowing down to him.

“Oh, heh, Hi...” He said shyly, smiling at her.

“Lets hang out Bou!” She said grabbing his hand and dragging him down the street, giggling.

Bou blushed a bit and followed her with a confused expression, his hair tagging along behind him in the cold winter breeze. “Um, who are you…?” He asked after they had stopped after a while, looking away to the street.

“I’m your key to a new job…” She said smiling. After having to leave An Café, due to personal issues Bou hadn’t had a job for a while. Even though he had tried to make it with other new bands, but he had no success.

“Um, I-I don’t really know what to say, I-I’m not really good at anything besides Oshare Kei, I-I’m t-to girly like…” Bou trailed off, muttering to himself. Fidgeting his thumbs. “Besides, I don’t even k-know who the heck you are.” He said looking down. “I don’t know if you’re a weird freak that wants to make me do weird things or something!” He said looking her now in the eye.

The girl pulled out a card from her pocket. “My name is Kuroyuki Soru, I run an Oshare Kei band called KillingEYEs.” She said smiling and bowing. “I think you were an amazing guitar player Bou, and I want you to be in my band!” Kuroyuki said standing back up strait now, letting the cold February breeze brush her face.

“Oh, well thank you so much…” Bou said turning away blushing and scratching his face. “Do you know when I could start by any chance?” Bou asked, catching up to Kuroyuki as she began to walk along the sidewalk. “I really do want to get back into the music industry again you know!” He said giving her a huge grin.

“Hey, lets go to one of the cafes and we can talk there, okay?” She said leading Bou to a cute restaurant nearby. She opened the door and let him walk in and sat at a table looking out at the other shops in Harajuku and pulled out a laptop from her bag and turned it on. “Okay, you can start next time we have a group practice and you can come over whenever you need to. You pay will be paid per gig when we tour and that includes all the expenses took away from paying for gas and food and hotels~” She said closing the black computer without shutting it down and caught a waiter. “Bou do you want anything, I’ll pay?” She said

“Um, I’ll have some cake and a coffee with a lot of sugar~” He said smiling and then sat in the booths red seat, looking down at his thumbs.

“I’ll have some tea.” Kuroyuki said and then the waiter walked away to get their orders. “So Bou-kun, what have you been doing since, you know, An Café and everything?” She asked curiously.

“Oh! I,” Bou said jumping up a bit, having not been paying attention. “Well… I’ve had so much free time, I didn’t even know what to do!” He said laughing. “See, I’m even getting fat!” He said poking his stomach and making a fishy face at her and smiling. “But it has been a long year…” He sighed. “I can’t wait to see who I’ll work with!”

The waiter brought the coffee and cake for Bou and sat it down in front of him and then placed the cup of tea beside Kuroyuki. “Thank you.” They both said at the same time, then turned to each other and blushed. “But yeah, I can’t wait to get you back on your guitar again Bou...” She mentioned sipping at the hot tea and smiling gently to herself….

When they were done, the sun had already set a while ago, leaving only the massive sea of the Harajuku night-lights that illuminated the sky.

“So Bou, do you live far from here, I wouldn’t think that you would since I found you here?” Kuroyuki laughed at him and patted him playfully “I live in those apartment right up there on that block with the two Bars on it!”

“Oh, really…?” Bou said looking away and blushing “I do too…”

Kuroyuki’s eyes lit up and she jumped and hugged him. “Oh Bou! We can walk home together now and be really good friends!” She shouted, causing a few people walking to turn around. Bou blushed and hugged her back.

‘Friends…’ He thought to himself as they walked along the street talking and stopping a few times to look at cute plushes or clothes at times and then arrived a few minutes later.

Bou bowed and blushed heavily as they came through the main entrance. “Kuroyuki, I really want to tell you how thankful I am for you for getting me back into music…” He said and then hugged her tightly

“Awww, Bou-kun Bou-kun you don’t have to thank me,” She said hugging him back. “It’s all my pleasure, and you can come over anytime you want, too! So bye for now.” After they had hugged and said goodbye, they went separate ways to their apartments.
