Yea that one who's smiling
Yet her eyes are telling a different story

Even though its hot outside
See that girl laughing with her friends?
The girl who's laugh seems hollow
That girl who never lets anyone in
The same girl who's eyes give her away every time

Yes the same one who watches couples hold hands
The same girl who listens to everyone else's complaints
And try's to take their pains away and make them her owns
See that girl walking away?
Notice how she loves the rain
How it hides the fact that she cry's where everyone else can see
Yet smiles and laughs and says its the wind
How she never lets her broken heart get in the way of helping others
See how much she truly cares?
See how weak she really is?
See how she's dying inside?
See how she walks away with a smile?
That's the girl everyone knows but ignores
That's the girl who saves everyone but herself
The girl that should really listen
When you friends say do something for yourself for once
But ignores them and her needs
See how she makes others smile when she can't even make herself happy?
See how she laughs a face laugh so no one sees her true pain?
That's the girl so many have hurt
Yet she still does everything to protect them
