ok so this is just a rough outline... Working title: Road to Rebellis
so Demetra Veirna, 16, (yes i very much like shounen) is fed up with the king's demands (unreasonably high taxes, rude guards etc.) so she goes to the council of rebellion (i would name it something different since the king would be able to tell what that is right away.) she goes there with her friend from childhood, Jarren Searite, 16. the council had been thinking about it as well and decided it was time to do something about it (jarren and Demetra basically raised by council) so the council assigns a small group of people: Demetra, Jarren, Sooro,18 (open for suggestions on that name), and Leah, 17. they are assigned to overthrow the king at take the reign for themselves. (i mite have some minor character helpers too (like scouts)
Drawings are just profile thingies so they are emotion-less and pose-less)

Demetra:
 (The head turned out huge and the hands are tiny! crying but this is just to know what the clothes look like...)
orphan for as long as she can remember, member of the council brought her in, unconsciously teaching her the views of the council. in training to become a wizard. (her clothing and accesories increase magic abilities.
Jarren:
 (again, not very good)
was an orphan with demetra (not related)friends before they were taken in by council so naturally they are good friends. he is training in the martial arts.
Sooro:
as a child, Sooro was always picked on for being a half demon, because of that he became very strong. he taught himself swordplay. mother died when he was 7. (dad, full demon, left the picture when sooro was born) very skilled and easily the best fighter in the group. being part demon, he is unnaturally strong, has small horns and his red eyes are beckwards (red in the middle, black around outside). being part human he has no wings and has normal skin tones. (pretend his arm braces and sword hilt are the same color as his armor)
Leah:
born to a rich family, raised and pampered in a pristine home, cant really fight, basically bought her spot in the group...ya :EDIT surprised k so she will have a use, she'll be an archer, but she cant fight melee so she is usually no good...:EDIT:
so tell me what you think, i know the ideas were really random but still. oh and they need to travel to the capital city where the king is. (still need names for towns and such...)
ps- it will still be awhile before i actually write this, i need a break from writing (and i still need to gather ideas...)
UPDATED PLOT POINTS:
1. before they face the king they must find four stones that magnify spiritual (magic ability) and physical strength. there will be tons of guards readying for war, which is why taxes have gone up considerably.
2. people are allowed to live alone at 16 years old.
3. There are two types of demons: One type is big and ferocious like a wild animal. The other can masquerade as a human and plot humanities downfall (Mwuhuhuhu)
4. One human-like demon (lets call him Kohano for now) is also after the stones. the group must get the stones before Kohano does (they will have a few run ins with him but he will leave for "not having any reason to fight" wink
