History: Saeru is now the only one left of her family, the Kyuusho's, who where not very well known, as they lived outside of Konoha. The main family would make the branch family their experiments, and the experiments didn't always turn out very well. Saeru's case was one of these.
When she was born, they were doing the usual, trying to fuse human and animal DNA (they had already achieved this with some of the members of the family). There was a problem with the DNA that they were using though. It turned out to be the DNA of the five tailed biju wolf. After this, the family put a seal on her arm (the one with the longer sleeve) that was to keep control of her. They periodically caged her up when they felt she was out of control (she still doesn't have very good control) and stuck her in the surrounding forests. It was on one of these occasions where a problem in the lab turned into an explosion, killing all of the members of the family save for her. She was ten at this time, and when she finally managed to get out of the cage (with help from Gobi), and gets to Konoha, where she finds help. She is eventually enrolled into the Academy later than most, but still manages to get onto a team by the age of thirteen.
Personality: She is a lone wolf (sorry for the pun). She is afraid of making friends, not because she is a mean person, but because she is afraid she will hurt them. She can be rude and gruff, but that is just her way of scaring people away from her. She is fiercely protective of her team, and the rest of her team have claimed her as her friends, so she is very careful around them. She is sarcastic and isn't afraid of hurting people's feelings, unless it is Chiyo's, who is her best friend.
Abilities: She has made up most of her jutsu's, as nobody trained her when she was young. In most fights she just wings it, though her ability to control raw lightning is one reason to stay away from her. She is pretty good all around, though her genjutsu does need a little bit of work.
Other: If you want to draw her, the only things I would rather you not change is her wolf-eared hat, as she is never seen without that. If you want to draw her in the outfit she is pictured in at the top, the colors are pretty much just different shades of blue with gray and black. Her hair is gray, black, and white (think of a wolf).Her hair comes down to about her waist.
