The Taurus sun sign is ruled by Venus, the planet of love. This is quite a bit different than one would anticipate a sun sign depicted as "the bull" There is some underlying truth to the symbol. For the male of this sign the bull would be the way he conquers his mate by building his physique to be desirable to the actual stamina of the act itself, in his earlier years.
