Step1
Communicate about the real issue that is bringing conflict between you two. Too many times people bicker about a small issue and dodge the elephant in the room.
Step2
Refrain from yelling. Nothing can destroy a civil debate more than two people competing for volume.
Step3
Write a letter to your friend stating all of your issues with him. Sometimes it is easier to say on paper what cannot be said aloud.
Step4
Email your friend, instead, and tell her what the issues are. You're speaking to a friend, so it's okay to be a little informal but make sure you get to the point.
