How can I have fallen so far?
Vast oceans of darkness all around
And my light is no where to be found.
Silver cross burns the skin
Dear Lord I have sinned
Please bleach these tainted wings
Cast away the beast and shadows
That look upon me alone in the meadow.
I, too, was once blessed with the sun's kiss
No longer to I dwell where laughter reigns
A night of screams, a memory of pain
I walk the earth with no love in my soul
Yet, I feed from the joy of others
