Let's recap ( or reintroduce to those of you who do not know about what has been going on with Tori)
-Basic information -
Torianu Iniel, Twin brother to Noriharu, older brother to Ieme. The Iniel family are a family of demons, as if much of the area of the world they live in. Torianu is the Head of the Iniel family, and ruler of the Eastern and ( recently acquired Northern Quadrant.)
-No place like home-
The particular region in which they dwell is separated into 4 regions; commonly referred to as ' The Sectors' or ' Quadrants'. Each quadrant has a 'Noble' family who are responsible for many aspect of the land. These people are referred to as Lords and Ladies, much like the humans take on things. Each family has a head, The big guy/girl, Boss, Madam (or what have you). These Heads of the families are responsible for the overseeing of , well, damn near everything in their quadrant and home. North, south, east and west, the most common names given to the Quadrants. The most prosperous quadrant is the Eastern Quadrant, closely followed by the western, then southern, then Northern. (Tori's family runs the northern.
-Customs-
Though, a majority of the population of the Quadrants is primarily Demon, other races make the Quadrants their home as well. The quadrants try their best to strive for peace. In hopes of achieving, at least some civility, If there is a dispute among the quadrants, a formal meeting will be held, the ruling families will assemble and attempt to work out their troubles. If it is far beyond talking means, according to those engaged in the dispute; then formal documents are drawn up to declare war. So, all in all, it's a ton of paper work and headaches. The paperwork system was designed to discourage wars among the quadrants. However, not everyone likes to play by the rules. Small skirmishes, invading parties will occasionally breach the borders between waring quadrants. Of course the head families deny ever knowing about these secret little groups. So the squads are either executed, tortured for information or forced to remain in the quadrant they invaded with harmful intentions.... and given NOTHING.
Despite the constant struggle for power among the ruling families, each quadrant holds several celebrations through out the year. One for each changing of the season, and one for their specific Quadrant. Citizens from other quadrants are encouraged to move from one quadrant to another during the weeks of festivals, though security is increased if a ruling family attends or known henchmen pop up.
As far as the citizens of the quadrants know, everything is as it should be, hunky-doory, peechy-keen, right as rain. They know not of the many attempts that other ruling families make to take over their homes unless a war is out right declared and agreed upon.
-Currently-
Recently, Torianu had found a 'Partner' , Hadrian , an Abyssal Lord. Ieme, who had been with and engaged to Thalimon, passed away soon after giving birth to Thalimon's children.
