so I was sleeping last night, as one is want to do that time of the day, and I started dream some rather intriguing dreams. I dreamt that there was a mens day. not so much a celebration for men as a celebration of the old male archetype; strong, brave, and protective provider. vogue was doing a piece on what to wear for mens day, the poster boy was adam baldwin, who was wearing an innovative black linen dress, he was surrounded by a mixed gender posse of petite model types in different black garments. the backdrop was silvery gray with great quantities of water. I was excited because just the other day I had heard there was a womens day, and I had thought [ or rather had said loudly] that there shouldn't be a womens day if there was no mens day...
