People say they want to know the truth about me. They say that's all they want, and nothing more. There's two problems with this.
One, humans are greedy. In general, humans are greedy. So no matter how much you tell them, they always want more.
Two, the truth can sometimes scare people. Like if your best friend was cutting herself or himself, and you found out the truth, that might just scare you. Whether or not you realize it, you might be scared.
The truth can be deadly. It can kill friendships, destroy relationships, cause people to never speak to each other again.
But telling the truth is vital. Lies only make things worse. The saying "what they don't know won't hurt them" is straight bullshit. What they don't know could hurt them. But you don't know that.
The truth is always a good thing, whether ot not you think it at the time. That's why, someday, I have to tell someone something he probably never wanted to know in the first place.

Tell Sam that he's dead, it's not a lie, it's true-
that we'll never again be friends, never again be true blue.

Tell Gina to hug, tell Forrest not to cry-
because we all know that his death is not a lie.
