That's right. I'm reviewing the past two weeks. Just like the title says. Surprise, surprise. So basically. Last Monday, I believe it was, was the episode of Star Trek: Enterprise including John Billingsley’s nude scene. I think that’s enough, as far as discussion of that type… Then Tuesday, the ENT episode’s stardate was on my birthday. Which was uver cool. =] I pretty much missed every other day for some reason, so I can’t really think of anything else worth remembering. I’m sure by this point you all have an idea of what’s important to me in life, ne? cx ‘tis true. I lead a pathetically sad and geeky life. But I’m darn proud of it. Since I had to surrender my primary life goal [as of this past Thursday], I’ve brought another to the surface. Which has always kind of been there, but here it is: I’m going to watch every episode and movie of Star Trek. In existence. I’ve got to be close to halfway, or something. Saving TOS for last is probably a really bad idea. I’ve never been a huge fan of that series. Oh well. There was even some TNG on, Friday. Fantasticness. Because. BeverlyxJean-Luc FTW. <3 [pokes icon wall on profile]
Yikes. It’s hailing. [Onscreen. Oh, wait.] Or…it was. Moving on. Last Friday was all of that Single Awareness Day jazz, which is now [mostly] over. Yay. Even with somewhat of a reason to celebrate it, I don’t like Valentine’s Day much more than I have in the past. =| My cosplay group and I had a rather-unsuccessful photoshoot, but oh well. ‘twas enjoyable, I suppose.
I missed Enterprise for most of last week for various reasons, and happened to tune in for Friday’s episode. Where they got out of the expanse and were back on Earth and it was saved and…crap. [I’m not worried about spoilers. I’m sure you don’t care.] Then Trip went with T’Pol back to Vulcan, and he was all worried about her mother and inconveniencing them and everything, despite the fact that T’Pol made it clear that they had a guest room. Trip: What will your mom say when she sees you’ve brought me with you? T’Pol: I’ve never mentioned you. They even spoke some Vulcannnn. T’Pol and her mother, of course. Then her fiancée from her prearranged marriage shows up, and she decides to marry him. Poor Trip. T___T So this proved to me, yet again, that I am definitely meant to be Vulcan. I even bear a striking similarity to Jolene Balaock, wouldn’t you say? J/k. I’ve determined that if I resemble any celebrity, it’s probably Emmy Rossum with some Miranda Cosgrove squished in there. [nod]
My current knitting project is coming along nicely. After I tore the scarf apart and began it again using about half as many stitches. Heh. I’ve got to put some pictures of my various completed knitting pieces up here, sometime. Because, you know. Not many people knit. c:
Yesterday was the rave/birthday party of two friends of mine. Which was pleasant, despite the fact that I dislike dancing as much as my husband. Who fails at making bets, by the way. I got to do some Mello and Lelouch fangirling. And eat a cookie cake. Which I think are the greatest. Although any cake is good so long as the icing is, really.
I reached my first 100k gold on here, yesterday. [Thanks Mai. <3] Only to spend it today on an Enchanted Book, when all along I’d been questing Kelp o’ th’ Loch. Now I’ve been reduced to a mere 6k. T__T That all-too-familiar feeling of being poor is back. Dx Following Gaia’s birthday event [my sash was one of the lease valuable; that's so not cool], I put some new clothes on. Those being these ones that I’m wearing right now. Unless you’re looking at this later on, which I doubt. Anyway, for my next theme I’ll finally be ditching the green that has made up about 90% of my avatars and going with purple. Look out for it. c: Well, I believe that’s it, for now. Star Trek: Voyager is calling my name. I only managed to ignore it last night because of my husband. And I claim he’s not controlling me… Ha. He isn’t. Voy porque quiero. Speaking of which, I changed the language of my cell phone to Spanish. Finally, it comes before French in /something/. It’s been cool. c:
