I spent the past three days at Anime NebrasKon. It was great fun, especially considering this was my first con ever. I can't believe all the stuff you can buy at these things, from giant pocky to little chibi Sephiroth pins. The karaoke was a little disorganized but other than that, I loved the con. The dances were good because they were pretty much all J-rock/J-pop and techno. No rap/country n00bs here. ^_^ I watched the AMV contest (the winner for comedy was an entry that was a bunch of Naruto clips to "Men In Tights" wink , and the cosplay contest (one of the dudes dressed up as Sephiroth, there were a billion Sakuras, Sausukes, Narutos, Eds, and a great number of ninja. Also, the guy who ran the convention dressed up as Squall (After all, that's what he calls himself), and there was one person dressed as a Ragnarok Online assassin. I was dressed up as Link, and everyone loved my costume. Especially my sword. People actually take pictures of cosplayers, and I think a dozen people must have taken pics of me. Our guest VA was the person who did the voice of Kaorin in "Azumanga Daioh", and our guest artists were the people who created the "Otaku-no-Yen" webcomic. They had anime viewings, discussion panels, and a bunch of other stuff.

Of course, with that much activity for three days straight, I'm pretty darn tired.
