Well, for as long as I can remember, I've been reusing characters again and again in differant stories. They start out as one character (the skeleton), and then as the story evolves, and in result, so do they, I change the character bit by bit until they are someone entirely differant.


Gemmetra/Gem:
My first, and by far favorite skeleton to use (can't ya tell?), as well as being the one I use most often. A good two quarters of my RP and story characters develop off of her appearence and personality. She's been everything from heroin, to victim, to villian, and normally is the main character. I officially made her up sometime in 4th or 5th grade after altering her out of a differant character I had made up, and I've never let her go.
From her mold: Hope, Reign, Elysia, Catalyst (Crissy), Amore, Anthea, Renee S., Selene, Evalyn

Elane:
At first I thought of putting Tona, but I realized that Tona came from Elane's skeleton, so Elane is here in her place. Elane was the first established female character I had created other than Gem for quite some time. She's the base for most of my out-spoken, strong-willed, more annoying characters. Sadly, she is yet to be put into a written work of mine since Tona takes up most of the limelight.
From her mold: Tona, Danny, Zarifa, Renee(2), Melody, Brendi

Kiir:
A newer character, I suppose that developed off of another character from the same long forgotten story Gem evolved from. It just took a lot longer for him to be used. I normally use him as a proffessional or ego-centric character. Not normally a villian, even though he often holds characteristics similiar to that of a villian. His character, and the characters developed from him, range from stuck-up knight, to stubborn dictator.
From his mold: Gethin, Unnamed, Innes, Koreck, Edeck/Eldeck, Cringe

Lantose:
Even newer skeleton that I'm not sure where he even came from other than the first story I put him in which was only a few years ago. But he has since been the model for my more fun-loving, laid-back male characters. I often make him naive and innocent compared to those around him, though not always.
From his mold: Nikan, Neaven

Lumist:
The most versatile of my characters. Her hair and eye colors are always changing, as is her personality. Normally she's sweet, flirty, cute, energetic, and a little sister type character. Other times though, she's one of my most tragic characters suffering both outwardly and inwardly depending on the situation. She's almost always stubborn, and easily can get on certain people's nerves (particularly characters from Elane's mold).
From her mold: Abyssa, Rhea, Vespera, Lauren

Cody:
A little boy that lives to cause trouble. The ring-leader of his two best friends, despite being the youngest and the fact that they both deny it. He always likes to make himself more important than he really is. Cody is the basic skeleton for all almost all my kid characters, even some of the girls.
From his mold: young Neaven, young Lumist, Aiden, and Tona's original form (before I made her an adult that follows Elane's mold)
