After much years of debate, my parents have decided to sell all of the cattle.
They will be auctioned off at the dispersal.
We will, of course, not go to school,
because this is freaking life changing.
My father has farmed all his life,
so this will be BIG.
We are losing major money right now- just glance at the news and it'll tell you right out that milk prices are at historic lows and feed prices at historic highs.
Which means that the farmers get less and less money.
It was determined that now it costs more for dad to farm than it does for him to sit and laze around all day.
Which won't be the case.
All of us want dad to get a trucking job. He has been made offers of work from Haug and such in the past, so it shouldn't be hard to find his first real job. (and he's 52 years old...)
So. March 12.
Two days before Orlando,
leaving no time to adjust.
This will hurt. I guarantee it.
