Chapter 1:
The girl ran down the long hallways of the Black Order. The long sleeves of her uniform dangled so you couldn't see her hands and fluttered as she ran. With her she carried a single purple wax candle. This was her innocence and her name was Road was Road Kamelot.
She ran untill she was in front of a door that lead to her fellow exorcists' room. She pressed both hand against the door forcing it to open. The room was a decent size with one bed and a closet, but the floor was invisible due to the mountain of junk it contained. Road had to climb over a sand dune sized pile of what seemed to be old action figures (with several missing parts) to get to the bed on the other side.
Two boys were sleeping together and wrapped in the same blanket so only part of their heads were visible. Road shook the blonde first then the black haired boy. "Mmmm five moree minutes..." they both groaned. "Hmph..." Road climbed onto the bed and began to bounce "AH! WHAT THE HELL!" "Hee!" the twins complained quickly sitting up.
Road stopped bouncing and sat on Lero so she hovered above the now irratated Debitto and Jasdero. "What was that for?!" Debitto fumed waving his arms. "Its one in the afternoon..." Road said swinging her legs back and forth with a smile on her face. "So? hee..." Jasdero complained. "Tyki already left so play with me!" Road pouted obviously bored.
"WHAT! TYKI LEFT!?" both twins shouted at the same time jumping out of the bed. "He said he was going to help us today!" Debitto shouted. "Yeah!" Jasdero agreed. "Well he couldn't wake you up so he left..." Road laughed floating beside Debitto. "That b*****d..." Debitto muttered under his breath grabbing his "exorcist uniform (which he torn and tinkered with untill it became "stylish" ) Jasdero was like a mirror image of Debitto as he grabbed his exorcist uniform (which had also been altered by Debitto)
"Its your fault for sleeping in." Road said giggling as the twins muttered angerly. "Ugh were did Tyki go THIS time?" Debitto asked crossly managing to pull on his uniform and shoved his gun into his pocket. "In town." Road said jumping off Lero and pulled a piece of candy out her pocket quickly popping it into her mouth. "AGAIN?! Come on Jasdero!" Debitto said starting to walk out. "Ok hee..." Jasdero smiled pocketing his own gun. "Wait for me!" Road called out following behind.
The twins dashed through town with Road close behind. The streets were oddly quiet and Tyki was nowhere to be found. "Tyki~ Tyki~ Where are you Tyki-pon~" Road hummed as they walked. "Damnit we will never find him at this rate." Debitto growled in complaint kicking a rock with his boot. "Lets split up!" Road suggest running off down the street before the twins could answer or think.
"Ok then... lets go down this way Jasdero!" Debitto ordered. "Ok hee." they started to walk down an alleyway. "Its cold hee...." Jasdero whimpered staying close to Debitto. "Come on we got to find Tyki!" Debitto said edging on. The alleyway was long and it felt like they had been walking forever when a noise behind them grabbed their attention. They turned around and their eyes widened.
Road trotted dragging poor lero behind her. It wasn't long before she noticed a strange figure moving in the shadows. She knew by the sheer ugliness that the creature was an akuma. "An akuma? here?" she gasped making sure to have a good grip on her innocence. What were the akuma doing here? Is that way Tyki was in such a hurry to get to town? She pondered on all this as she watched the beast move closer as if it were sneaky.
The akuma lunged at her only to be greeted by the power of her candle walking away as it selfdestructed. She discovered that the town had become a nest for the akuma. Even worse she left the twins who were still apprentices and not full fledged exorcists yet all alone. They were stubborn to and easy targets for akuma. They could be killed! She raced down the barren street and froze when she heard two loud familar screams.
They ran for their lives as the repulsive creature chased in quick pursuit. The twins had fought a few level one akuma but never a level three. They screamed loudly as the monster reached out trying to snatch them up by their collars. They were halted as they crashed into a dead end. "DEBITTO WHAT DO WE DO!?" Jasdero screamed pressing his back against the wall. "I don't know.... our anti-akuma weapons are useless..." Debitto mummbled panic striken. "If only we were stronger..." Jasdero whimpered.
Jasdero squealed as the akuma grabbed some of his long hair and yanked him up. "JASDERO!!!!" Debitto screamed as his twin was lifted away from him. "Your exorcists? Your just little brats!" the akuma laughed a laugh full of malice as he slammed Jasdero's head into a wall. A loud crack ringed through the small alleyway making Debitto's eyes widen. He saw blood run down his little brother's face as the little blonde twin went limp. It had felt like somebody had stabbed Debitto in the heart as he looked at his brother's expression. "Hahaha let's see how much you can bleed!" the akuma said with a wicked smile
Pain rushed through Debitto's skull and tingled through his body. The level three was trying to kill them both slowly to savor the bloody moment. Debitto looked over at Jasdero who's eyes were locked on him with fear and pain. He knew Jasdero was thinking the same thing he was he could tell by the wall he was crying. The fresh blood mixed in with his tears as he cried "Debitto......" Jasdero whimpered. Debitto was unsure if his brother had said anything else. His ears rang as his head made contact with the stony wall once again. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" he cried out in pain as blood flooded into his mouth. He choked and gagged as heard the akuma's rusty laugh once more.
"Great just great its all over we are so young and here we are going to die..." Debitto thought with frustration. They hadn't even completed their one and only goal either.... Thhe twins waited for their skulls to once again be smashed into the wall, but strangely nothing happened. Instead they heard the akuma shriek in pain and two familar voices. "Hello twins...." "We're here to save the day. The twins smiled blood trickling from their mouths as the mummbled weakly.
"Tyki...."
"Road..."
"Thank god we aren't going to die...."
