As I am able to speak, I can also breathe
I can see, just as I touch, I will also feel
I can only hope to hear more than I do

I can see pictures of you and your life giving smile
I am able to speak to you with hopes that you will hear me
I will breathe to survive and live to see you facing me
I dream of touching your soft skin with you in my arms
I want to feel you close to me and feel your warmth

Now I have heard you finally and have done the impossible
When I heard your voice I felt as I was lifted into the heavens
As if all worries and troubles were gone I felt at peace
All I cared for was you, me and the love that we feel for one another
I now have the ability to do all of these things and much more

No I shall not dishonor them I will call them what they truly are
What they dissevered to be called “miracles of the gifted heart”
I am able to do the because of you and the love you show me
You have given me life and now I will give you my life in return
For now and ever will be together with our love to guide us
Life will be our ocean and our love will be the boat that we sail it with
