It has been a month now since Soji moved in to our class. I don't know why, but things have been a lot different around here. This morning wasn't a typical morning. When I walked outside & locked my house door, Sauin was outside waiting for me. She had a bright smile on her face. "Sauin what are you doing here?" I asked walking over to her. "Oh I just came to walk you. You always walk alone so I wanted to suprise you," she said smiling. I just smiled & we walked. It wasn't too cold outside, but just cold enough where we needed a jacket. It was that time where we went back to our winter uniforms. We arrived at school moments later. We parted our ways to go to our shoe lockers. When I opened mine I had a white piece of memo paper laying on my shoes. It read, Dear Raion, Meet me in room 114 in the junior hallway after school. I was star struck I guess. Who would want to see me? I didn't even know any of the juniors other than Mitsku Yatuio. Though there was this boy who was amazingly cute. I don't know what his name is, but I have passed him here & there. Ah well.. It was gym time again & I was just a day to play. As I was tennis with my friends that boy walked in to hand the teacher something. I couldn't help but to stare at him. At that very moment, we met eyes. I quickly jerk away to keep playing my game. I glanced over just a bit to see what he was doing, but he was gone. After gym it was lunch time. Sauin & I sat at our normal seats next to each other, but we pushed them together. The window was opened & I could feel the cool breeze on my body. "Hey Sauin can I ask you a question?" I said taking a bite of my sandwhich. "Sure what is it?" she looked at my confused. "You know that junior that I talked about?" I didnt bother looking at her. "Yeah what about him?" She was still confused. "He came into gym today & I think he noticed me.." "So, hat if he did?" "Well, because I li-" I got cut off, because Soji walked over behind Sauin. I sat with my head down & finished my lunch. He didn't even bother talking. He just stood there then walked off. Ah well he wasn't my problem. The rest of the day I kept reading the note & kept wondering who it was from, but I couldn't think of anyone. Maybe it was Mitsku wanting to talk to me. Yeah I am sure that was it. When the final bell rang I started walking toward the junior hallway. I felt weird. Everyone kept staring down at me. I was shorter than everyone in the school, but it didn't bother me. I finally reached room 114. I gently knocked & then walked in. There he sat. The most amazingly cute junior that I knew just passing here & there. "Hello." he said starring at me. "Hi." was all I managed to get out. He starred at me then got up. "Were you the one that put that note into my locker?" I pulled out the note. "Yeah I did." he said now standing over-head of me. "Well why?" "Well because, I couldn't talk to you with everyone around now could I?" "Uh I guess not? Though why me?" He moved his hand upon my face. I jerked my head down so he couldn't see my blushing face. He smiled at me. "I was wondering.. Would you like to do something with me this weekend?" He asked. I stood frozen for a minute then said yes. He said that we could go home now. He offered to walk me home, but I said I would be ok. I had to think anyway. On my way home I kept wondering why me of all people. There are a lot of other girls out there & he chose a freshmen like me? I couldn't believe it. Though it was true; & now I couldn't wait for this weekend.
