I re-did Mina's *Personality bit, filling in what I had missed earlier, and finished up the profile for Kazz (he's a villain this time around). Oh, and I also found a picture for Fionn, though it wasn't really necessary. lol

He tends to rebel against authority in pursuit of personal freedom, which often gets him in trouble. Fortunately, he's learned to respect the opinion of those more experienced than him.

*History: Every war generates various casualties: the dead, the maimed, the widowed, or the orphaned. Locke became one of the later at the age of four, when the empire of Daliel invaded his homeland and laid waste to his village. Homeless and penniless, it took the half-starved child three days of walking along dusty roads before he reached civilization. The city was hardly a place of salvation, however. Life in the streets forced Locke to steal, scrounge, beg, and fight for his very survival on a day-to-day basis. By the time he was ten, he had become a fairly accomplished thief. Recently, he managed to catch wind of the resistance group through the black-market information network. The next day, Locke packed everything he owned into a small bundle and went off to join them.
*Powers: While he doesn't have any supernatural abilities of his own, Locke is quite adept at thievery and stealth. He's a veteran pickpocket, lock pick, and burglar. The young man has also developed an eye for important details, which helps him spot traps or appraise an item's worth. Locke gets along fine as far as fighting goes, though he prefers to avoid direct confrontations if he can help it.

*Other: Locke has a fair reputation among his fellow blackguards, and still maintains various connections among the seamy underbelly of human society. The Resistance is almost certain to find his familiarity with the black-market and thieves' guilds useful, though his notoriety among the local law enforcement could be a problem.

*Species: Human/Sphinx (Half-Spirit)
*Age: 42 (appears to be in his early 20's)
*Appearance: Kazz Menefer stands 5’ 6” and weighs 174 lbs. His ears, wings, tail, and pale complexion are all a result of the forcible binding between his human and spirit aspects. He mostly wears dark, loose fitting breeches and a tight shirt that allow him freedom of movement when walking or flying, though he does own a number of ceremonial clothes for formal occasions. He has a fondness for silver jewelry, such as chains, and can usually be found wearing a necklace or two. The glowing gems on his person which hold power for spell casting. Kazz also owns a pair of custom made goggles, which are useful for keeping the wind out of his eyes as he flies or as protection when he experiments in his laboratory. A large pouch slung over his torso holds his “mage kit,” which contains most of his essential tools and spell-casting components.

Pact of the Riddling Mind – Grants the recipients the ability to easily find their way through the convoluted workings of the mind. It also serves to shield the Pact-Maker’s own mind with a labyrinthine maze of shifting impressions and images, making their own thoughts difficult to penetrate even skilled psychics.
Pact of Mirage – A power that takes simple illusions to a whole different dimension of believability. With its help, one is capable of entirely deceiving a person’s senses, even when the victim knows that what they see isn’t real. It also allows one to distort the target sense of time, which can be extremely useful.
Pact of the Sphinx – This is a twisted Pact that arose from the unnaturally deep bond between Kazz and Menefer. Along with his odd physical appearance, the man-creature has also gained catlike senses and reflexes, as well as the ability to fly using his wings. Kazz has also gained something of the spirit’s immortal nature, which prevents him from aging and falling ill, though it won’t protect him from death by accident or violence. However, the unnatural form of his body cases him constant pain.
*Personality: Kazz was always a loyal, if ambitious member of the Daliel military. His clever tactics and easy grasp of strategy have lead him to constantly exceed the expectation of his superiors, though he has been somewhat frustrated by his recent lack of advancement in rank. He used to be more outgoing, but ever since he and Menefer were bound together, he’s largely withdrawn into himself. His introspective mood lends him a quiet intensity that most people find alien and unsettling. He has a very inquisitive mind, and thus is well suited for uncovering the enemy’s secrets. Kazz is an opportunist in the sense that he’ll exploit any practical advantage he can get his hands on, but he’s difficult to bait, as he possesses a far amount of foresight.
*Allegiance: Empire of Daliel (grudgingly so where Menefer is concerned)
*Occupation: Strategist, Spy, Colonel for Daliel
*History: Kazz was originally a simple battle mage in the armies of Daliel. It wasn’t long before his commanding officers soon recognized the young man’s competence on the battlefield and fast-tracked him for promotion as an officer. About twenty-two years ago, however, the emperor decided to begin experimentation with using Pacts to enhance the effectiveness of his soldiers. Kazz even volunteered to participate in these trials, anticipating the power and position that it could grant him. Unfortunately not everything went as planned. In an attempt to take on all the powers of Menefer—an ancient and wise sphinx—both human and spirit wound up being melded together into a single entity, both mentally and physically. Despite this setback, the newly made “Kazz Menefer” has continued to serve the empire until the present point in time. He largely does this out of loyalty and sense of duty, but also because there are precious few practical alternatives available to him. Lately he’s become frustrated by his lack of advancement in the army, something he knows can be blamed on his eldritch nature and his lack of nobility. Thanks to the sphinx’s influence, though, Kazz is perfectly content to wait for opportunities of any kind to arise, even if it takes a century or two…
*Powers: He’s a battle mage who specializes in illusions—when an ambush or a group of reinforcements seem to magically spring out of nowhere, Kazz has usually had a hand in making it happen. He also knows a fair bit of mental magic as well, allowing him to stun or control opponents in battle, or probe secrets from the minds of the enemy. He can also perform telekinesis on a small scale. His other spells, such as those that control the elements, are minor in comparison, though he keeps a variety of useful ones on hand. Kazz has more than a little experience going toe-to-toe with his opponents, though he has more of an advantage if he can fight at a distance. He dabbles in alchemy and potions as well, though most of his concoctions tend to explode, whether they’re meant to or not.
*Equipment: Spell Book, Magic Mirror (pocket sized), Knife, Poisons, Antidote (general purpose), Various Potions, Explosive Vials
*Other: While it has certain advantages to his unique body, Kazz’s twisted form causes him constant, throbbing pain. It becomes particularly debilitating when his reserves of magical energy are low and the enchantments he uses to counteract the pain start to wane. Because of this, he’s come to rely on pain-killing herbs to some extent.

Pact of Stone Skin - Grants a strong resistance against being physical damaged, but more subversive magic tends to remain effective. The Pact-Maker also ages at a much slower rate than normal.
Pact of the Gargantuan - An odd ability that allows one alter their body's size at will, providing them with a giant's stature (up to 10x their normal height). The extra mass and leverage further increases one's strength, but the shape-shifting process does not happen instantaneously.
*Personality: Mina is a hardworking individual who tries to make the most of life. Her motto is “put your whole heart into every effort you make.” She takes pride in a job well-done. Mina also knows the importance of taking time to relax and enjoy one’s own pursuits, though, so she doesn’t come off as being an overly serious person. She can be a bit gluttonous around food, but she says it’s just because she knows the importance of a good, hearty meal.
*Allegiance: Neutral (favors the Resistance slightly)
*Occupation: Woodcutter, Warrior
*History: Mina grew up in of the Elfin timber towns, deep within the forest near the mountains. One day she wandered off to have lunch by herself while felling trees, when she heard a loud groan from deep within the forest. The noise turned out to be Fionn, an ancient giant who had fallen asleep among the mountains in ancient times. His spirit was in pain from a towering, knotted oak tree that had dug its roots deep into the rock that had once been his skull. Feeling for his predicament, Mina devoted what free time she could find whittling away at the massive tree's base. Three weeks later the oak finally toppled over, and Fionn's soul breathed a sigh of relief. To show his gratitude he formed a Pact with Mina, who agreed, not quite knowing what she was in for at the time. The fantastic strength Mina gained made her quite popular among the members of her woodcutting community, though the other Elfin have begun to take her abilities for granted. Meanwhile, the young woman has began to chafe underneath the workload that's been forced on her as of late, and feels like it's high time that she took a vacation...
*Powers: She knows a little nature magic, most of which relates to plants or shaping wood, along with a fair bit of survival lore. Mina is also a talented warrior, though she tends to depend on her "swing weapon and watch enemies fly out of the way" strategy a bit too much at times.
*Equipment: Wood Ax (almost as big as she is), Iron-bound Club (ten feet long and weighs a ton), Camping Pack (contains tent, bed roll, extra clothes, and lots of food rations)
*Other: For some reason, her body seems to require a lot of food. At diner, Mina'll usually pack away at least five helpings of everything on the table. It's a good thing she tries to earn her keep... She's a decent cook as well. Like most Elfin, Mina used to be adept at woodcarving. Unfortunately she's had to stop since making her Pacts, since her now excessive strength snaps most carving knives. It's become a major source of irritation for her.

*Personality: As demonstrated by the fact he hasn't moved in the last few millennia, Fionn is very laid back. While he's very kind and indulgent for a member of his race, he can be truly terrifying if moved to anger. Since Fionn is slow to act on his impulses (or do anything else), though, it would take some event of enormous magnitude to spur him into action. Until such a catastrophe occurs, though, he's quite happy to dream away the rest of his existence.
*Allegiance: Too sleepy to care, really.
*Occupation: Spirit, Deep-sleeper, Mountain Range
*History: Fionn is from an ancient race of giants who walked the world at the beginning of things. After wandering for untold centuries, however, he began to grow bored and exhausted. So it was that Fionn rolled up a few hills for a bed, settled down a foundation of sandstone for a mattress, and settled down for a nice nap. The giant laid there so long he eventually turned to solid stone, becoming a low mountain range that would later be known as the Maccum Hills. His hair grew to form the surrounding forest, and his drool (ew) became the streams that ran down his face. Fionn was perfectly content to rest in this manner until a large, ingrown "hair" started to bug him. He had spent a been considering waking up to deal with it when Mina happened along to help him out. Happy for the Elfin's assistance, he decided to grant her a small part of his remaining power as a reward. Occasionally he talks to her in his dreams, which have become more entertaining since they've met.
*Powers: Besides being really enormous and made out of stone, Fionn doesn't have any special powers. There's a strong argument for the fact that he doesn't really need them either. Rolling over in his sleep would be enough to destroy a large city, much less anyone foolish enough to pick a fight with him. He also knows a fair bit about what happens throughout the mountain range that used to be his body. The Pact between him and Mina allows them to communicate over a distance, though her thoughts are easiest to here if she's nearby.
*Equipment: Rocks, Boulders, Snow, Avalanches, Trees, Grass, and other misc. bits of mountain vastness
*Other: On occasion, Fionn has fits of snoring. The racket he makes sounds like the rumbling of a volcano, complete with tremors, and it often goes on for days at a time.
