Shayra and I arrived at the bottom of a cavern in North Durem. It was dark, but I had put a lantern nearby so I could see when I came back here. I lit it, and Shayra looked around and ran her hand along wax markings that covered the rim of the large, crystal plate we were standing on. "Interesting..." she said, "You made a dimensional gate with arcane writings and a crystal focus?"
"This dimension doesn't know about the Multiverse, so I had to find the planar nexus and make a travel device myself. It's crude and complicated, but it gets the job done. Come on, we have ground to cover."

We climbed out of the cave, and a chilly breeze blew by. "Okay Popper, we need to go 14.6 miles south-southeast to West Barton." I told her. She grabbed me tightly and she teleported us to the outskirts of town. "We'll walk from here, okay?"
"But what about my appearance?" she asked, "Won't people freak out if they see me?"
"Relax. The general population here has an... eccentric style of fashion. They'll just think you're in costume."

We walked into town, and Shayra was looking at people with a shocked expression of her face. "Man, you weren't kidding! Where are the fashion police when you need them?" Just then, a sizable group of people wearing various Block outfits scuttled by. "Were those... Tetris pieces that just walked by?" One of them, an L Block, stopped and turned to face her. "Awesome outfit! Are you supposed to be a Dark Elf warrior?"
"More than you know, little L Block." she responded. The person inside it giggled, then scurried away to join the rest of the Blocks. "See? You fit right in with the rest of the weirdos!" I said, smirking.
