So. My friend Hilary brought her (super amazingly cute) son to school today. We went to the cafeteria to get some food, and on the way out, this elderly woman stops us. She gave us this really weird look, which I guess is understandable. Two Asian girls, about the same age, walking around with a kid in a stroller. I can see how she might've thought we're a lesbian couple. She asked if he was Hilary's kid, how old he is, etc. And then she asked if we are students, what we're studying, said she thought it was great that Hilary is studying/mothering at the same time (which it is btw). And then, "Where do you live?" LOL!!!! The look on her face when she found out that we live in different areas of Washington was soooo funny. Relieved? Confused? I think you just have to be there though. I guess it didn't help that I was running around watching her kid while she ate. Haha, and Tom's reaction was pret-ty funny too. "Are you like, a babysitter?" "No, he's mine." "ooooohhhhh......" "...." It hurt to not laugh at him. rofl
