RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
Well, doesn't look like I've written here in a while. Mostly that's because there hasn't been much to write about: things have settled into a comfortable routine. Most days start out with me checking my mail and feeding the fish before heading out. I've spent a lot of time lately helping out on Bill's ranch; fixing up the farm equipment and keeping the animated form getting out of hand. On weekends I like to take things slow, maybe go to the arcade or work on a puzzle at home. I keep meaning to go back to the university but never seem to find the time.
It's been kinda lonely recently. Haven't made as many friends as I had hoped when I first moved in. Oh well, maybe I just need to get out more. Someone told me about pets and I've been thinking about getting one. It would be nice having more than just the fish to keep me company. There are several kinds to choose from though and I need to research more on the care and feeding of each. Don't know, depends on how much trouble it would be to keep.
I hadn't noticed it till recently, but I've been getting a lot stronger. Apparently all that hard work on the farm is really paying off! What finally made me realize it was when I went into Deadman's Pass for something. The boot snakes and clutches didn't seem that tough anymore. I even defeated the Purse and Golashes with a bit of effort. Of course, I still got whupped by the OMG's near the top. But one step at a time right? The biggest surprise though was when I went through the Village Green on my way back to Barton. Remember the lawn gnomes that gave me so much trouble a few weeks ago? I was able to take them out with almost no effort! Even large packs weren't a problem! The general was still too strong for me, but like I said: can't do it all at once.
So, I was walking around Barton today and ran into Rina, the cute girl who runs the flower shop. We got to talking about this and that, she has quite a bubbly personalty. As it turns out Candice, across the street, is the same way. The way those two talk you'd think they were sisters! Apparently Rina and Candice don't see it that way though, it seems there's some sort of rivalry going on. After talking to both of them Rina agreed to try and patch things up. She mumbled something about making a present and sent me out to get flamingo feathers on the village green. That was a chore let me tell you. I don't know how many of those guys I had to defeat just to get two feathers! You would think that flamings have lots of feathers but that's apparently not the case *sigh* At least I'm stronger now so that made things a little easier. Once I got back Rina did something with her hands and within a few minutes had made this bright pink boa! I took it over to Candice who really LOVES it. Once she heard it was form Rina she was willing to put the whole mess behind her. I think those two will be good friends, they were already babbling away by the time I left.

Just some random thoughts
I might use this journal to post my thoughts and observations but there's no telling how often I'll be updating it ;) [mostly in character]
