Farewell For Now.

I am sorry,
Truly sorry.
But my mind is made,
Made for the better.
Perhaps you do not understand,
But one day,
You will.
I have always loved you,
And will continue loving you.
Distance is but an obstacle,
An obstacle in our journey.
You are my jewel,
I only shine with you.
You are my armor,
I am untouchable with you.
You are my greatest story.
Never let anyone tell you,
Tell you you can’t.
This does not separate you from the rest.
If anything, it makes you stronger.
I hope you will not resent this,
Resent me.
I leave you in the care of a trustworthy friend.
Your life will be tough,
But you will endure.
Perhaps we can see each other,
And get to know one another.
But for now,
I bid my farewells.
My heart is devoted to your soul,
But I cannot continue living this way.
I promise to return,
If you promise to remember me.
