Watching you act, hiding your emotions,
Behind a mask no one can penetrate.
Trying to keep the world from knowing how you really feel.
Unable to comprehend the meaning of life.

Hiding physcological pain by causing physical pain.
Even if you bleed.
Guarding your thoughts from the world,
Trying to understand them yourself.

Always looking at the ground,
Feeling like life is useless.
Please, for me, let your mask slip.
For you've held it far too long.

Confide in me what you wish to,
But do not let me be a burden.
Don't waste your life, sacrificing yourself.
Because im not the only one who cares.

Let me remove the mask
And feel the pain you do.
I may not be able to comprehend it,
But I can try to dull the sting.

Confide in me, your emotions.
Show me what is making your life so unbearable.
I can attempt at lifting your burden,
Or are you too strong to cry?
