Absolutely Nothing [Poem]
Behind This Mask
That I Put On Everyday
There's A Scared Little Girl
Calling Out For Help Before She Drowns
Behind That Scared Little Girl
Are Bones And Muscles
Helping Her To Continue And Walk On
And Under That, You Would Think There'd Be A Soul
But It's Only Nothing, Absolutely Nothing
And No One Would Care If The Mask
Crumbled, And Faded Away
Or If This Scared Little Girl
Died And Decayed Away
Or Even If The Bones And Muscles
Were Used For Tools And Food
Because Honestly,
Who Would Care About What Happened To
Absolutely Nothing
Behind This Mask
That I Put On Everyday
There's A Scared Little Girl
Calling Out For Help Before She Drowns
Behind That Scared Little Girl
Are Bones And Muscles
Helping Her To Continue And Walk On
And Under That, You Would Think There'd Be A Soul
But It's Only Nothing, Absolutely Nothing
And No One Would Care If The Mask
Crumbled, And Faded Away
Or If This Scared Little Girl
Died And Decayed Away
Or Even If The Bones And Muscles
Were Used For Tools And Food
Because Honestly,
Who Would Care About What Happened To
Absolutely Nothing
