Poem biggrin
When... by Me, Yin.
In this City of Hellfire
It all burns down.
It blinds my eyes as I see it crumble.
A shell.
But Life wasn't always this way, my love.
Wasn't always this hard.
Wasn't always this empty.
We were racing with the greyhounds
With a pocket full of lead.
We fell into step with snails and slugs.
We fell into darkness with bats and mice.
And it wasn't always this way, my love.
There was a time when love was here.
When hope was here.
When people believed in what they believed in.
When people cared.
But it's gone now.
But don't cry, my love.
Take the darkness here,
And turn it into Light.
Plant the seed of love
And watch it grow.
Catch the wind in your hair
And run along the painted sky.
Take others with you
And teach them to soar.
And maybe...it will be like way back when...
