Tales from the murder scene....
Things I will write that are vivid now but probably won't be later on.
Halloween/Birthday Weekend!!
Okay, this has had to have been the best weekend of my life. Seriously. Halloween was on Friday, my brithday is Sunday, today. I've gotten the chance to celebrate both at the same time over a three day period! Do you realize how awesome that is!?

Okay, on Friday, October 31st, it was Halloween. I got to dress up like a ninja, just without the mask and beanie. When I put them on, everbody would say 'Oh, that's so awesome!' Also, I got to do tech work for drama club during third period, Chemistry, and it's an excused absense, so that rocks hard. After school, Drama Club had a candy ptoluck for those in it. We played Earth Chicken, where you teamed up with someone, the lighter person got on their partner's back, and the one on the floor had to race barefoot to the other side of the stage. Scott and I sooo lost; he slipped, and I nearly crushed him. Hahaha. Next, we played Simon says, with Scott playing Simon; this guy David totally won. Last, we played this weird tag game; you partner with someone and link arms; there's a partner-ship out, where someone's it and someone's running. The runner runs to a partner-ship, and links arms with one; the one on the other side is now the runner. If they're caught before they can link arms, they're it, and now the tagger is the runner. It's confusing, but really fun. After that, Scott and I had to go to the band hall because we played a game at Burger Stadium. ******** football. But, we got to wear masks, and afterwards, the band-boosters let us go 'Trunk-or-Treating', where they had candy in the trunks of their cars and you go get candy from them. It was still awesome. Scott stayed the night, and we fell asleep watching 'Young Frankenstein' with Gene Wilder.

Now, onto Saturday, November 1st. It's the mid-day between Halloween and my Birthday. So, I usually celebrate them both on that day. Mom's birthday present to me was three tickets to The House of Torment in Austin. It's GREAT! I'd never gone to anything like that before, and let me tell you; I'd never been more scared in MY LIFE!!! Through the first door, a monster scared the crap outta me; I was the first one in and all, so I ran (which, by the way, is against one of the rules, and I think that's stupid). I ran into the first room, a huge, open warehouse type place with boxes and caution tape and road-blocks. Four Zombies came at me, and I shreiked. One came from behind the barriers, leaping over the boxes and s**t, another was behind him, one was to my left, another behind me, and one was coming very slowly from in front of the barriers. I felt like I was gonna die. I screamed repeatedly as loud as I could. The leaping one ran up to me, and a little midget one slid in front of me cackling. I ran back to Scott, who was screaming for me to come back and not to run, and I hung on to him for the rest of the time through. I was really scared, and I'd jump and cling onto Scott even tighter when something did; mom was behind us and apparently pushing on his jacket. The last room was a swamp room, with a rickety bridge over a thing of nasty, green water. The water got sprayed up at us, and it startled me; when I turned around again, there was a swampy zombie freak squatting on the railing; he'd come out of nowhere. I thought he'd jumped up from the water, so I started pushing Scott to make him go faster; one last monster awaited us at the exit to make us go faster, and we did. I was glad to be out of Contagium. Next, we went into Illusion Manor, the second half of House of Torment. It wasn't really scary, just slightly unnerving. These two dolls led us in there, and that was weird; inside, they kept trying to eat our fingers. The hallway leaving that room had a black little air-wall pushing against us, and I kept thinking 'this must be how a baby feels.' Hahaha. Next, we went into a room with a tubular spinning wall with black-lights and neon paint. I was dizzy. Next, mirror room with a chick looking for her dollies. Mom said she threw them away, and the girl kept following us. Hahaha. The worst room was the gravity room, where the floor and everything on it was tilted at a 45 degree angle. Some freakazoid ran in there after us, and stayed against the far wall. The last room, these young kids, a boy and girl (they looked about 17) came at us going 'I want a glowie!! Can I have a glowie?? Why can't have one, can I have one?!' (Scott had brought glow sticks for us) Mom and I turned around and asked them if they wanted ours. They freaked out and got all excited. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I want one, I want one, please please please!!" The guy took both and went back into the wardrobe he'd been hiding in. The girl was screaming 'No no no! Bad ghostie! Baaaad ghostie!!' when we left. It was great.

Today is Sunday, November 2nd, my 16th Birthday. I'm going to Scott's in two hours to celebrate with mom and his family. I'm happy. I'll update on Monday to tell you how it was and what all happened. I'm staying the night at his house tonight. =)

Well, have a good Day of the Dead!!

love,
Leslie
