A random idea I had for Kajisasa.
Kajisasa breathed calmly, walking into the room. She had been told to wait in the room, though she wasn't sure why. Was Shine planning something? She closed her eyes before opening them and gazing around. As she saw the mirror, she froze. "I told her not to let me see my reflection!" She exclaimed in a low whisper, unaware of Aizen standing just outside of the door.
Kaji could see a girl that looked exactly like her...But nothing like her at once. They had the same features, but they were so different. Where Kaji's braid was a dull green, the girl in the mirror had vibrant red hair. Their eyes were also different. Kaji's were deep violet. The white of the reflection's eyes were black, and the irises a shallow gold that gave off nothing, save amusement. Where Kaji wore straight black with red highlights, the girl wore white with green highlights. Kaji's pale skin contrasted with the reflection's tanned skin, and the most obvious difference was their expressions. Kajisasa wore a frown, her reflection held a smirk.
"Leave me be," Kajisasa hissed, her reflection's mouth unmoving. A giggle filled her mind. Her reflection suddenly spoke, the words only heard by Kajisasa. "Do you think I'm going to let you go? Do you think I'll set you free? If you do, my friend, it simply shan't be so. You will never break away from me."
"All that you are is a face in the mirror! If I close my eyes, you'll disappear!" Kaji exclaimed, her eyes shutting tightly. The face of her reflection appeared behind her eyelids and she opened them wide. It spoke, "I'm what you face when you look in the mirror, and as long as you live I will be here."
"All that you are is the end of a nightmare! You're just a dying scream! Rather soon, I shall end this demon dream!"
"This is not a dream, Kaji-Chan, and it will never end. This is the nightmare that goes on. I am here to stay, no matter what you might pretend. And I shall flourish long after your death!"
"Soon you will die and my memories will hide you! You can't choose anything but loss of control!"
"You can't control me, I live deep inside of you! Each day you'll feel me devour your soul!" The reflection informed with a bit of a laugh after the statement.
"I don't need you to survive like you need me! I'll become whole as you dance with death! And I'll rejoice as you breathe your final breath!" Kaji's blood ran cold at the confrontational laugh and turned her back on the mirror. Tan arms wrapped around her and she went stiff. Her reflection was now solid, able to be heard by anyone who cared to listen. "I'll live inside you forever..."
"NO!"
"With darkness itself by my side..."
"NO!"
"And I know that now and forever they'll never be able to separate me from you."
"Can't you see it's over now? It's time to die!"
"No, not I, only you!"
"If I were to die, you would too!"
"You'd die in me, I'd be you."
"Damn you! Leave me be!"
"Can't you see? You are me!"
"NO! Deep inside..." Kaji's resolve was breaking as it always did.
"I am pure. You are dark."
"No, never!"
"Yes, forever!"
"God damn you! Take all of your deeds and rot in hell!"
An unsettling whisper echoed in Kaji's ear as she punched the mirror, this time unheard by anyone else. "I'll see you there, Kaji..."
Kajisasa looked at her shattered reflection. This time, it wasn't the one that confronted her. Crimson dripped down the glass, and Kaji looked at her fist, where there was probably still some glass in it...
I thought this may be Kajisasa's first kill. It would work well.
Kajisasa smirked, stepping from the shadows to gaze at the man before her. "Your Grace," she purred with sacasm. The man started, looking at Kajisasa's vibrant red hair. Kaji continued. "Warms the heart to see that romance still blossoms, even in the sewers of Kurakara Town..."
"Who are you--?"
"...What a pretty pair? Romeo of the cloth, and Juliet of the gutter...Though Juliet seems a trifle young for such a disgusting old Romeo," Kajisasa informed scathingly as she referred to the woman--or rather, girl--that the man before her had just molested.
"How...Dare you, Ma'am?! Do you know who I am?!" The man exclaimed. Kaji leaned forward with a wider smirk, revealing the sheathed sword that she had been using similarly to a cane. "Yes, Your Grace. I know exactly who you are! Eminent churchman and philanthropist, friend to those in need--particularly those of the female gender in years still tender." She blocked his way as he moved to exit. "Let me pass you, fool!"
"Who does not know Esel? Fourteenth"--She jabbed her sword at him, the sharp part of the sheath connecting harshly with his chest and producing a yelp from the man--"Bishop of Beythinstil! Whose generosity is most distinguished, degenerate, obscene, corrupt, and malignant!" She spun in a kick, knocking him to the ground with a scowl. "You hypocrite!" She emphasized the word with a whack on the head with the sheathed sword. "Hypocrite!" Another hit. "Hypocrite!" Another hit and a scream of agony from her victim.
Her lips quirked up in a smirk as she stepped over him so that one foot was on either side of his waist, her sword pressed firmly to his forehead and creating groans. She soon swung one leg millimeters above his face. "Tell me...Do you recognize the name 'Kajisasa Tsuki'?"
"That was...My daughter in a past life. Don't...Tell me..."
"Yes...That is the name of your killer, also..." She breathed deeply, letting her blood rush. An exhilarating feeling of adrenaline rushed through her. She decided to talk through her kill, releasing the stress and anger that she had with this man. "Animals trapped behind bars in the zoo need to run rampant and free!"--As Esel tried to crawl away, Kajisasa grasped the back of his shirt and flung him back to where she could easily reach him--"Predators live by the prey they pursue. This time the predator's me!"
Esel stared up at Kajisasa in fright, whimpering at her not to do it. Kaji stalked over to him. "Lust like a raging desire fills my whole soul with its curse...Burning with primitive fire; berserk and perverse!" She swung a leg over his head to turn and he attempted to crawl away again. Her sheathed blade fell in front of him, blocking his hasty escape. "Tonight," Kaji hissed as her hand smacked him on the cheek, sending him to his side, "I'll plunder heaven blind, steal from all the gods. Tonight," she did the same, slapping his other cheek just as harshly, "I'll take from all mankind, conquer all the odds!"
She left him on his side. "And I feel I'll live on"--she emphasized the sentence with a hard hit with her sheathed Zanpakutou to his neck, which made him jolt as he pleaded with her to stop--"forever with darkness itself by my side!" She tilted her Zanpakutou up so that it was parallel to the ground. Her hand grasped the sheath, removing it from the blade of the trusted Kuraitenshi. "And I'll show the world that tonight and forever the name to remember's the name Kajisasa!" With this exclamation, she watched as he reached forward before running the blade of Kuraitenshi through his heart. "What a feeling to be so alive!" She exclaimed with Kuraitenshi's and her darker side's approval, "I have never seen me so alive! Such a feeling of evil inside! That's the feeling of being a killer!" She decided her rant should come to a close, as she'd need to escape to Hueco Mundo soon. She smirked to herself as she imagined the papers' headlines about this.
