Adam came out of the lavatory, with a hand clutching his stomach and another holding on to the wall for balance. He had been in there for three hours. Your knees would be dead weak but Adam had enough strength to keep standing. He slowly (and painstakingly) walked to the couch. Adam plopped down beside Andrew and groaned, now with both hands covering his stomach. “Andrew, next time, clean the house better,” he said softly.
Andrew was deep in thought about the plan and didn’t respond to his Master. Adam used his leg to prod Andrew out of day dreaming and stumbled a few times in the process. Andrew stumbled as well. “M-master! Please don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“When I sat down, you should have felt the vibrations. I didn’t sneak up on you; you were daydreaming. What were you thinking about? More things about the Otrelds?”
“Sort of…” Andrew didn’t want to tell Master about his plan, but all the guilt about concealing it showed on his face.
Suddenly Adam had the strength to sit up and talk. He placed a hand on Andrew’s shoulder and spoke softly. “Andrew, you know you can tell me anything.”
And Andrew did.

He swept around the large building with a long, black cloak draped over him. His pale lips curled into a smile towards every worker he employed, but everyone knew that his eyes hid a different emotion. They knew him too well to be smiling when he was. He was thinking, and a new idea popped into his mind as fast as each second goes. His ideas of dominating the other 20 Lands. He remained dormant for the past 5 years. It was time he was at strength again. He had waited too long. Not much remember his name no more. He was the mastermind of the whole criminal league, Artemis.

It was the 5th day of my training on Wand-works. The two men had sent me to my room to train by myself. Apparently, they were trying to teach me levitation with an 8-inch wand (although it only looked like a twig to me). It wasn’t working out too good.
I have attempted 361 times, and each time, something new breaks. If it’s not the vase, it’s the cheap desks. If it’s not that (I must’ve done the wrong spell), then something randomly drops from the high book shelves.

Outside, Andrew was done telling his master his plan. Adam forgot about his pain and looked more serious than ever. His curiosity in his eyes turned into soberness. He used his hands to wipe his face and didn’t look at Andrew at all. OK… this just might not be as serious as it seems… “Andrew,” Adam said hoarsely. OK, this is serious. “You know we can’t lose her, right Andrew?” Andrew nodded. “Then you also know how dangerous this plan is for the rest of us, right.”
Andrew nodded again. He knew all too well what his plan would cause.

“I’ve done it!” I shouted as I rushed out the room. I had successfully transported the vase. I smiled at them with a glowing smile. But the smile on my face turned to a grim frown of curiosity, seeing as the two men were in a deep conversation. None of them were smiling when they saw me.
Adam stood up and said “I’m going to bathe. Andrew, give her the other lesson.” Andrew hesitated a moment. A visible frightened look was on his face. Adam looked at him. He had a hint of sympathy on his face, and then he disappeared in the bathroom. A few moments later, Andrew scurried off to his room. He then later returned with a large tome and threw it to me. I just barely caught it before he silently swept to his room.
I had hours and hours of reading. Adam sure liked to take his time while bathing (I think he reads five books at once). Andrew stayed in his room all day, but he hasn’t made any sound. I’ve successfully done twenty-nine out of sixty-one attempted spells (they’re not all easy, you know).
October 3
Are they mad at me? Adam hasn’t gone out of the bathroom yet and Andrew’s been knocking books around in his room. I don’t know what I did to make them this mad….
P.S.: Only 28 more days till Halloween!!!
I fell right asleep after I wrote my journal entry. I didn’t realize that I was hugging the quill pen and journal while I was sleeping, and left my stuffed animal on the top shelf. To think about it, I didn’t even remember getting a stuffed animal before.
