A once wealthy and very important person until her best friend who had known her since she was born and who she was madly in love with called her a greedy little whore. After that she burned all her valuables and wandered off. But as she passed by shops of which were shining brightly with golden jewelry she picked up a habit of stealing.

Kat walked threw the town with two small bags of stolen gold tied to her waist. Still to this day her past came back to haunt her as she saw a couple sitting under a tree. The woman smiled and laughed as the man told jokes. She frowned and felt the tears build up. She started running not looking where she was going as the tears flooded over. She slammed into two burly men who grabbed her by the wrist.

"HEY! watch where your going little girl! some men might get the wrong impression when your running into them like that!" Both men chuckled and grabbed a little of her clothing. Kat screamed. If she had been able to reach her swords they would have been dead by now, but seeing as they had a tight hold on her wrist she couldn't do anything but struggle.One of the men punched her in the gut lightly. "please let me go!" she coughed out. "now now men that is no way to treat a lady" A voice came from the darkness in a growl. Blood splattered onto Kat's face. All she could see was a sword slicing into the mens necks. Kat thanked the female voice that was coming from the darkness and ran wiping the remaining tears from her face. Then she turned and ran looking at the soon to be bruises on her wrists. She whimpered and ran to her cabin the tears starting to build up again.

Kat sat on her floor and started counting her gold. She growled when she noticed ten shillings were missing. "thieving is a dangerous business. Especially for someone as helpless as your self." The voice from before snickered. A tall slender girl with medium length white hair dropped through a hole in her roof. "listen girl i appreciate your help earlier but i can take care of myself. My life is of no concern to you" Kat growled unsheathing both of her katana. "now now there is no need to fight i came here to give you your stolen goods." The girl smirked and threw the gold shillings at Kat. Kat yelled and charged at the girl, cutting into her shoulder she growled and kicked the stranger in the gut. The girl quickly retaliated knocking Kat into a wall and putting her katana against Kat's throat.

" your weak" The girl said. "ARTEMIS HURRY UP YOU SAID THIS WOULD BE A SHORT STOP!!!" A man yelled down from the roof. "SHUT UP DAVE!!" Artemis yelled. "remember girl be careful with your thieving." Artemis yelled before jumping onto the roof and running off with Dave who looked extremely bony. Kat sighed and wrapped up her arm which was cut badly and bleeding. She plopped onto her bed. She was exhausted from the long day she had had and drifted off to sleep.

"kitten love come to daddy whats wrong" Kat's father smiled and took the crying five year old into his arms. "daddy Miko hit me!" She whimpered. "Well hit him back! Ive been teaching you how to fight haven't i. None of our family is weak and I know you wont be." He smiled. Kat wiped away her tears and made a tough face. "I'm never gonna lose a fight ever again daddy!!" She yelled and ran off to fight Miko

Kat woke up and growled. She had to vent her anger somehow. She grabbed her katanas and put on her best, most flexible clothing and walked outside. Today was the day that she would rob the jewelry store.

Artemis and Dave stood in the alleyway. Artemis knew what was going to happen she could see things before they happened. "what are we doing here Artemis!" Dave yelled. "shhhs." Artemis put her finger to her lips as Kat walked in front of them then crossed the dirt road and into the jewelry store. Loud banging sounds came from inside and Kat ran out her shoulder bleeding. She ran into the ally as the owners ran out with the newest weapon of their time,guns.

"oh not you two again!" Kat yelled. Artemis grabbed her bye the shirt and pushed her against the wall. "listen girl Da-" Artemis was interrupted by Kat punching her. "My name is not girl! it is Kat!!" Artemis held her nose shocked. How could she not have seen that before it happened. "..K-Kat i want to help you become stronger but in return you have to let me explore your mind...i cant see what you are thinking..and i am very curious about you now" Artemis offered

"thanks but i don't need your help" Kat growled straightening her shirt. " Are you afraid dead old daddy will get mad at you Katlina"Artemis smirked "DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME THAT!!!" Artemis sighed "I guess you truly don't remember me after all" Dave yelled "WELL OF COURSE SHE DOESN'T ARTEMIS!! why would she you weren't that big of a part in her life not to mention she was much much to young to remember! Just give up and lets go home!" Artemis growled and disappeared, Dave followed closely after.

Kat stood dazed scanning her memory for a girl named Artemis. She couldn't remember anyone by that name. Her blood was boiling! she needed to get home before she started killing innocent people. Once home Kat ate and went back to sleep.

"DADDY DADDY!!!" Kat frantically screamed as she ran through the burning village.Tears ran down her face as she saw her family and friends corpses being burned. A large black horse stopped in front of her "are you all alone girl" A voice asked as a young woman jumped off the horse. Kat couldn't see her face because her eyes were clouded with tears. The fire had gotten out of hand the only reason she was crying was because she knew it was her fault. It was her fault....she was greedy...she didn't deserve t-

Kat woke up in tears of the old memories,while Artemis and Dave watched from one of the beams in the cabin.Artemis still wanting to look into Kat's mind,while Dave protested loudly getting Kat's attention.
Kat looked to them and demanded to know just who and what they are to her,and what they wanted from her. "We don't want anything Kitten we just wont to give you the right path in life" Dave smiled trying to hide his lie "well leave i'm on the right path." Kat protested. Artemis strolled out of the kitchen whistling the song from RAT RACE with an iron skillet. She walked in front of Kat and slammed the skillet into Kat's head. Kat fell down unconscious as Dave yelled.

Artemis knocked Kat down with her wooden sword. "your stance was off. do it again." Kat got up and ran at Artemis angrily. She simply knocked her down again. "Hey Artemis why don't you try actually teaching her.." Dave said from outside. "because she needs to learn her mistakes herself and fix them herself. It was how i was taught and its how she will be taught."Artemis said calmly. Kat stood up and ran at Artemis. This time was different and Kat knocked Artemis over. "see my point Dave. Kat learns easier when her anger is built up she thinks faster and throws harder punches." Artemis said as she spun on her hands and kicked kat in the breast with both feet.

Kat regained consciousness and sat up. She was in an old house family house. Her eyes shifted over to the dumplings, rice, tea, and rice balls to the left of her and immediately started eating. She was starved and her head was pounding. Not only from the pain but from the memories. Artemis was the one who had saved her from the out of control fire all those years ago. Artemis was the one she knew as a mother from the age of thirteen. Kat stood up and stumbled a bit being caught by a young man with black shaggy hair and glasses. "miko!? I thought you were dead!!"`Kat screamed wrapping her arms around her long lost friend. "Well i almost was thanks to your out of control house fire. Lucky for me some skinny guy named Dave found me under some debris.

Kat smiled widely happy to see her old friend. "we should have a play fight like in the old days"Memories flooded into her mind."it would be too much fun for the avera-" Kat cut off her sentence as a sharp pain shot through her head. She groaned in agony, gripping her head she fell to the ground screaming as the pain increased. Artemis and Dave ran into the room to see what was wrong as she started to cough up blood.

The floor below the small group slowly turned into a giant black hole. Artemis jumped over dave trying to runaway, but as she reached for the door a large ugly demon struck her,knocking her back,Artemis growled as dave and miko started to slip into the black hole.Artemis grabbed several weapons that were hanging on the walls before jumping into the void. Now that her friends were in there she was more than ready to jump in.

Artemis landed with a thud ontop of dave who was piled ontop of miko. She put the weapons to the side of her and stood up on the one brick path. There were chunks of land floating around them. the places other than that path and the chunks of land was an endless amount of space."woah" she whispered under her breath latching her katana to her waist.

A young man in a jesters outfit floated buy on a chunk of rock. He laughed "WELCOME! welcome to my lovely creators mind. I'm sure your all wondering what the hell just happened. WEll!! I dont really know!....wait yes i do! But im not gonna tell you! wait maybe I will!. Anywho. The more time im stalling you guys the more Kat is slowly dying!" He laughed" oh isnt this fun!.You see if she dies all of us things she created will be set free in the world. She was so lonely she created us and were all pretty damn mean.! " He chuckled and the jumped onto a chunk of land which had a large door on it." by the way youll have to sift through her memories and fix the things that she corrupted. Make her life better bla bla bla. i wish you bad luck! My names Joker by the way ******** nugglets..." Joker yelled and ran through the door.

Artemis was the most positive thinker. Dave finally snapped after years of being the one who told artemis what a bad idea things were "I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE HER ALONE!I TOLD YOU MORE THEAN 10 TIMES! BUT NO YOU DIDNT LISTEN BECAUSE YOUR AN IDI-" Dave got cut off when artemis hit him with the hilt of her katana. Dave became quite again "I think we should finda door. That joker guy went through a door so maybe we can find a good one too."She said. Miko stood up grabbing an axe from the small stack of weapons. Dave growled and grabbed the staff. Atrtemis smiled happy to have things seen her way and started down the long path. The only thing that lighted their path in the pure darkness was lanters floating off of the paths.

They soon came to a split in the path . A sign stood alone as the last lantern hung from it. They could see a small spec of light very far away down both paths. The sign read 'Fire extends forever more until the blackened water infests the flames choking them in their waves'... Artemis looked confused at the sign and looked at dave who was already taking the right path. She didnt argue and followed him.

Severel doors away Joker laughed and kicked Kat,knocking her down as she coughed up blood. "HA!! you think your little friends can save you!! look at them they are about to fight your memories! ruin your mind! they are making it worse!" He doubled over in laughter as he watched a glass wall which was focused in on Artemis,Dave, and Miko.

They were slowly making their way to the dark blue door. Dave was smart he alreayd had figured out the riddle. He started to kick in the dark door. "stupid doors jammed!!!" He yelled. "lemme see" miko mumbled. Miko jammed his weapon into the crease in the door then kicked the handle to the weapon causing the door to fly open and hit dave in the face knocking him off the path and into the blank space. He started falling but managed to cling onto a floating rock.

He bretahed heavily trying to hoist himself onto the small thing. Miko and Artemis scrambled around trying to find something to throw to him to pull him up.
