A boy, no you couldn't really call him a boy, he was a young man was walking out of the church late. it had been a big blow-out tons of music, food and drinks. he was walking with a grin on his face, it widened when he saw a figure sitting on the curb.
"looks like i'll have someone to talk to while i wait for my mom." he thought. he sat down next to the figure wich was a girl, clad in a black jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes. he sat with his legs outstreched and she was sitting with her legs crossed. it wasn't until he really looked at her that he noticed she was crying. she sensed him staring at her so she met his gaze with a watery smile then quickly turned her head again. he looked away as well but soon was drawn to look at her again. this girl wasn't beutifull nor was she really pretty and she was only a little cute in all honesty but he kept staring. he noticed how mad she seemed whenever she would wipe away some tears she would scrub her face with her hands unrelentlessly. it made him cringe everytime at how violent she was with herself. then he couldn't take it anymore. as she raised her hands again to scour her face something possesed his hand, it shot out and caught her wrist. he was tempted to drop it once he saw the look she gave him. it wasn't out of anger or anything near that, the look she gave was of pure unrelenting terror. her eyes were wide and he could feel her pulse quicken. sure granted he was a stranger to her but still no normal girl should be that terrified outside a church. he couldn't help but wonder what had made her that way. he wasn't sure if he really wanted to find out. with his free hand he began digging in his pocket for the small thing of tissues that his mom made him carry around. he found them and then offered them to the girl. the terror slipped from her eyes and her pulse dulled. she smiled again a small light coming into her eyes and thanked im in a rather raspy voice. there was something about her smile that unsettled him. no. it wasn't the smile it was her eyes. her eyes, when he looked into them he saw her soul, it was like looking at broken glass but the pieces were big enough that they could still refract light and maby be put back together. he decided that that would be his new mission. he would, if not totally repair her he would at least try. they sat for a few more minuets in silence. he was preoccupied with how he was going to save her and she was just sitting. he jumped alittle when a sigh escaped her. he watched as she stood, brushed her face one last time and got into the truck that had just pulled into the parking lot. acouple minuets later his mom came.
