Title:My only angel

It had been three months since the incident....Debitto sat on his bed staring blankly out the window...it was storming just like that night....
"Devi lets go play!" Jasdero begged his brother it was storming outside and the twins sat in there room "Jasdero its storming Im not going out there..." Debitto mummbled avoiding the puppy dog eyes of the blonde twin "Fine....then Dero will go alone if Devi needs Dero he will be outside having fun!" Jasdero huffed walking out Debitto didnt mind he knew Jasdero would get all wet and come back in a few minutes complaining about his hair and eye makeup anyway....but he never did in fact after three hours went by and the storm got even worse...this worried Debitto... he waited for the storm to let up before going outside the ground was damp and most of the trees had been blown over...as he approached where the biggest tree was he froze "No..." he mummbled he an over under the tree was a body familiar to him...the blonde hair....the stitches...the innocent face that was now frozen from horror.....the cold dead eyes looked up at him...lifeless in pain the mouth looked like in a postion as if he was saying "Devi" there lay Jasdero dead before him the body cold it looked like he had died only recently...Debitto bent down beside him and touched the freezing face of his dead twin "Jasdero..." Debitto was in disbelief it was like a nightmare he couldnt believe this was all real he just had to be asleep in the bed of their room Jasdero safely in bed beside him....but this wasnt a dream it was real "Jasdero..." he murmured once again pulling the dead body out from under the tree and hugged him the intensity of the cold made him shiver and the silenced heart of his twin made him want to scream out in pained sorrow......he sat there and sat there till the others came looking for him......they had a funeral that night for Jasdero the others had payed there respects and left Debitto to mourn....The grave was decorated with flowers and the hat Jasdero had gotten when they found Clucky when chasing Cross and a numerous assortment of candles. Debitto sat and pressed his head against the gravestone with his beloved twins name engraved on it and the words "Gods little child let he take you by the hand and lead ye to peace" in large letters "Jasdero....." he didnt know why but he couldnt shed any tears and just sat there as the night continued on watching the candles as they burned....

Debitto shook away the memory of that night he was outside again in front of the grave like he did every night...he had to accept the facts....there was nothing he could do his brother was dead and that was that....but it was to hard for to accept...if only he had went outside to play with him if only he had prevented him from leaving in the first place none of this would have happened and Jasdero would still be here his cheerful face greeting Debitto as he woke up, begging Debitto to play with his adorable puppy dog eyes, and sneaking in Debitto's bed when he was scared or sad....but that was all over now...Debitto would never be able to see his brother again, never be able to play,laugh, and run with him, and never able to apologize for anything mean he had ever said tears grew in his eyes as he cried...he cried all the tears he should of cried when he Jasdero died...all the tears of regret he should have shown whenever he had yelled at his twin....all the tears as he thought how he never told his twin how much he had loved and cared for him..... "Devi....why are you crying?" the voice startled Debitto he looked up on the gravestone sat a angelic figure...beautiful snow white wings...golden hair that shone as it curled down his back the face and eyes full of eternal youth as they looked down at the boy in concern "Jasdero..." was all Debitto could choke out...was it possibly his twin had come back for him? "Debitto....Im sorry I was so foolish....Jasdero should have never left..." Jasdero said sadly "But you came back come on we have to tell the others" Debitto said taking the angel hand of his brother tugging him slightly....but Jasdero didnt move and only gae a small frown "Jasdero can never go back...." he said in a murmur Debitto couldnt stop the tears that flowed down his cheeks he was in denail and disbelief.... "No no dont say that come back with me Jasdero!" he begged but his twin only shook his head "Jasdero can never go back.....Jasdero must stay where he lives now..." he paused to hold both of Debitto's hands "....Jasdero came to say goodbye before leaving they have been taking good care of Jasdero...." Debitto was in shock "No.....no please dont leave me here Jasdero!" he screamed as his twin began to ascend up into the air he screamed frantically trying to grab hold to his brother "No dont leave me please if you cant stay let me come with you!!! Jasdero please....dont go....please..." he was silenced by the soft hand on his cheek and the gently smile of his twin "Im sorry Debitto....Jasdero must go now....Dero's time is over here but Debitto shouldn't give up his....Dero will see Devi again as long as Devi is a good boy I love you big brother and tell the others I said I love them too...and take care of Clucky" Jasdero was out of Debitto's reach now....flying higher to the clouds above "Jasdero! I love you too please......stay with me" Debitto's body shook "Jasdero will always watch over Devi.....for Jasdero is Devi's only angel" that was the last he heard Jasdero say for he had disappeared up into the sky...Debitto cried and looked down at the palm of his hand....a single white feather rested there. He pressed it close to his heart closing his eyes "My little angel.....I love you......wait for me......Jasdero...."
