Claire is a member of a vampire hunting orginization, Scarlet Tears, and has been a rebel for most of her life, ever since she lost her family to vampires. Keeping to herself, she has slowly risen to the top ranks of ST, the top ranked vampire slayer, although she is still human, a rare acomplishment. Her attitude towards life is bland, the only thing she wishes to do is to stop another family being destroyed by this menace and the avenge her own. Although she can have a dark personality, she is mostly spunky with a punkish style and isn't afraid to say what she thinks. She doesn't ask questions, simply goes in for the kill. The scar across her right arm is the aftermath from a bruital attack on ST, of which she was face to face with a pureblood vampire, who bit her but did not change her. She wishes to avoid such an encounter at all costs, and so she carries her hand gun and switchblade everywhere she goes. No one seems to know who or what she is, it doesn't matter to her, she comes and goes from her job as she pleases, her closest friend is a co-worker called Jade, and her twin Jared.
