How can someone be so ******** stupid? REALLY? TELL ME!

So I woke up this morning, went to see Emily and Eric at work for about 10 minutes, shed 4 tears over what happened last night and came back home only to be texted by Sam. Here's the entire convorsation:

"we never did talk this morning"

"You didn't text and I don't think we have anything we need to talk about anyway."

"I still want to be your friend"

"yep."

"that's not very convincing"

"Don't worry so much."

"I feel that we ended on bad terms last night."

"cause we did"

"I didn't want it to go liek that though"

"Last night was last night. This morning's dawn brought a new day. If you're going to dwell on your decisions of yesterday that's your choice.

"brandon sad "

"Relax."

"are we still going to be friends?"

"I make no guarantees of the future with anyone."

"why do you have to sound so mature all the time! can we meet somewhere tomorrow and talk?"

"I sound mature because I'm an adult. And I work tomorrow."

"... so that's a no"

"I work and there's only two of us at lunch. Today is my day off."

"are you coming over tonight" (There was supposed to be a party at her place)

"nope."

"why not?"

"cause I'm playing Zelda"

"alright..."
Silence from me, next message from her.

"so will I see you anytime soon?"

"I don't know what the future holds."

"well I'd like you to consider it. Emm told me what happened today"

"and what exactly did she tell you?"

"that you were really upset."

" that I was crying? Those tears weren't for you they were for myself for allowing the same things to happen every time."

"I'm so sorry I made you feel that way."

"Haha don't flatter yourself. I made myself feel that way because I have a soft heart."

"I can't explain myself via text. That's why I wanted to help you understand."

"I understand I overstepped my bounds and got attached to soemthing that was never there or never real. No worries. I did it to myself, again."

"I never ment for it to go that far. And I mean it when I say I'm sorry."

"Forget it. You liked the attention and I liked giving it. It was nice to be able to do that again for someone. You're not the only person who's been hurt a lot in the past. But I took a chance. It didn't pay off. Oh well, I'll live. You're off the hook."

"so no date now?"

"Are you interested in me? If not what would be the point?"

"so we can't go?"

"You've made it pretty clear you're not interested... I'd love to go on a date with you, but you're not interested in me so what would be the point? A date is something a couple or potential couple share, not just friends."

"can we do something together sometime then?"

"I'm tired of texting and need a coffee. If you really want to talk to me that badly I'll come see you." (STUPIDEST DECISION EVER)

"come over."

"your appartment?"

"yeah"

"5 right? I'll be there in a half hour or so."

"okay."


So I got there. Guess what she went and did with Emily and her roomate JUST BEFORE I GOT THERE?!


YES SHE ******** WENT AND GOT STONED. I made a wasted trip to town because SHE wanted to talk to ME but decided to get stoned instead, just proving that I'm worth about as much to her as the dirt under her shoes and that getting stoned was more important than salvaging any potential friendship or relationship her and I could have had.

SHE ******** THE BIG ONE THIS TIME. Screwed up LARGE and she's not getting another chance.

But I know she's going to show up at work tomorrow. I can just feel it in my bones. And I don't know how I'm going to react.
