@@; I learned a lot from the BZ workshop~ And that's a good thing.
Personal notes for myself would be: -- I have solid acting -- I'm somewhere in the 90's range of acting, but to be great, I need to open up more and reach the 100's and higher -- I'm better at playing older characters than younger ones -- I have a good deep voice that most females would have to reach for to attain -- I can specialize within my natural range, but to be more flexible, I need to expand it more -- My generalized anxiety disorder has pros and cons; he noticed that it sharpened my focus and attention to detail, but leads to me withdrawing in stressful moments -- There're indeed shy and people with anxiety disorders in the VAing world; just keep the pros and work out the cons -- Dominate the Vietnamese VAing world (commercials and radio stuff); everyone said that my knowledge in foreign languages can help me get a good start in the business -- Practice a lot to get use to breathing in the diaphragm; I have the capability and I can sorta do it, but I need to be consistent -- For someone my age (I was the youngest person in the building; yikes), I'm already off to an extremely good start; be more patient, since 10 years might be the average "overnight success"
Yeah, I think that's most of 'em. I really do appreciate knowing where I stand in terms of my VAing aspirations because Tony was willing to give his professional opinion. All of us in our group of 6 had reasonable acting abilities, but not the cream of the crop... 2 of us works on Anime TV. 1 of us is a 2-time AX Idol Finalist. 2 of us have radio and camera experience. And I'm... Er... I get call backs to walla sessions? He really liked the potential though and he really encouraged us to keep learning and improving.
I know what to work on now~
