_____ The final bell rang, marking the last day of the school year. The children exploded from their class rooms, hollaring and cheering. The buses and cars stayed parked, and ready for the soon to come stampede of highschool students. With in no time, the buses filled up with everyone ready to start their summer vacations. However, one particular bus had a petite female, who wasn't all that excited. The bus she rode had a sign on it reading Route 4-2-5. In the very front of the rows of seats, sat a seven-teen year old girl, clad in all blue and black. Her shoes were merely black flip-flops, sitting on the floor beneath her seat. Her legs were scrunched up between the 'buffer seat' and herself. She had pulled her black jeans up to look some-what like capris as she sat. From there she wore a dark blue hoodie, hood covering up over her head, her eyes shadowed.

_____ As the bus was filling up, the girl moved her messenger-bag to her lap, making room for a friend. Her hands stayed stuffed in the pockets of her hoodie after that. A thing white cord rode up to her ears from the pocket, with loud music blasting from the ear buds. With an inaudiable sigh, the girl stared blankly out the window. Lost in her own world, of music and dreams, she hardly noticed her bud beside her.

_____ "Selene..." Another girl sat down besided her. Her attires were khaki capris, a white polo, and white flipflops. "Selene!" The hooded girl named Selene jerked from her silence. "Huh...? Oh, hey Emma.." Selene shifted to make herself more comfortable as the bus started out of the parking-lot of the school. "So, Whatcha doing this summer girlie?" Emma pulled down Selene's hood, so she could have a normal conversation with her friend. A head full of auburn hair flowed down Selene's back once she shook her head. Her crystal blue eyes flashed for a moment, trying to adjust to the sun light. "This summer... For me that I'm aware of, is going to So going to suck." The hooded girl spoke softly, glancing every now and again to Emma. "I mean, you and Nate are going to Flordia for... who knows, how long and I'm going to be stuck at a rinky dink hotel. Probably doing maid service and horroble things like that!" Emma laughed, hugging her friend close. "Don't worry about it. Your sister already said you can have your cell back, so just call or text me when you can. It's not going to be as bad as you think." Selene shrugged, finally pulling her earbuds out and turning to face Emma. "Easy for you to say, you'll be in paradise." The big ol' yellow bus stopped and opened it's split doors. "Get off my bus Emmz." Selene giggled and playfully pushed her up from the seat. "Hey, I'll call ya when I get home!" Emma nodded as she stepped off the bus.

_____ The bus rode off across a bridge while Selene readjusted herself in the now empty seat. Her back was rested against the window, bare feet where Emma once was in the seat. Her now pale blue eyes flashed and glanced around to her other peers. Hearing all sorts of conversations about vacations and people actually happy to get to work. "Oh yeah... this is going to be so bogus..." With a sigh, her eyes closed, going back to listening to her msuic of Tokio Hotel.

_____ She listened to more than half the cd before realizing her stop was coming up next. Selene quickly shuffled her bare feet back into their sandles while she picked up her bag from the floor. As the bus slowed to a stop and opened it's doors, she stepped off and walked to the sidewalk before sitting down on a post of a fence. The bus sped off in a cloud of black smoke. Selene's hands waved infront of her to clear the exhaust from her nostrals. "Blech." She hopped down off the post and pulled down her bag. The strap of the messenger bag lay lightly across her shoulders as she slowly made her way back home.
