Endless song I play tonight
Soon to kill me soon to light
Every haunting memory of mine

A sinner’s song is beautiful
For every part is full
In every stolen breath, a tune

Soon to kill me chords I play
Shall I have my glorious day
Where I can sing to the world

A Darkened poem, a sonnet of hate
A chord of sorrow, A note of fate
The reaper’s vengeance comes

A flat, a sharp, a seventh, a minor
So colorful the world in black and white
I see all over today

Augmented, diminished, a sixth, and a ninth
A lovely opera of all I see
A lovely masterpiece dark and sweet
