Tell me if it’s true
As you may know my name is Ashley, you may think some fairytales aren’t true, but mine is. It may be like Cinderella or Shrek, whichever one but mine is more special. It is very short since it is still beginning and never ending. I believe that there is no happily ever after since I have experienced that in the cruelest way. I guess as you may say start the story from the very beginning.
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Ashley. She was brought to this world August 6th, 1994. Her mothers face grew a bright red, flushed by how beautiful her daughter was. Though she already had one daughter before Ashley, she knew both of them would be more like friends then sisters. Ashley grew up quicker then what her mother thought.
In the first grade Ashley didn’t really fit in, she was quite younger then the other kids. The teacher was evil; fire blew out from her head making some little kids cry till there were no tears left. Though this was no ordinary teacher she was secretly the best teacher in all the land of California. Even though I knew that she was the best teacher she still didn’t believe in me. Instead of taking spelling test at my own desk like the others, she made me sit in a desk in the very very back of the room where the lights ended. I tried proving her wrong by acing every spelling/math test we took she still put me in the back of the room. Finally after almost 3 hundred days of being at school it was finally summer. I made friends at school then, but they were the people who dealt pokemon cards behind the tree.
In the second grade it felt like a whole new year. Though my teacher was pretty strange I thought she was quite nice. Plus there was a boy in my class that I actually thought was cute! I know I thought it was a shocker I never thought boys were cute, I mean they had diseases and cuddies. On the fourth day of school I started going to speech, all because I could pronounce my “R’s” correctly like the other kids. During the beginning of the school year I had so many friends, especially my new best friend Harmony. Even though she said some mean things about me behind my back I still thought she was my friend, since she was my only friend then. Then school went to a very bad disaster. The day after Halloween I tried getting candy from the top of the refrigerator. So I grabbed a chair and reached as hard as I could just to get the candy, but then my hand slipped causing me to fall from the chair making me land head first on the ground. I cracked my two front teeth that day…and sad thing is they were my permanent teeth. The next day at school people started calling my vampire freak and girl who should find a plastic bubble. Finally it was cat6, we had to all switch desks and oddly enough I got my crushes seat. His name was written so nicely on his name tag BLAKE all in between the lines. When I was finished with the test I decided to snoop around his desk. I found a red crayon and accidentally drew in his desk. It was like something controlled my body, like it wasn’t me anymore. But the strangest thing was my punishment was to become friends with Blake, which was really weird because we both had the same interest. We made best of friends until Blake started saying that I was girlfriend and all this other stuff that no one told me. So I went straight up to him and yelled.
“What are thinking in your head Blake?”
“I don’t know? I thought you were my girlfriend.”
“No all you told me was that I was only suppose to be your FRIEND nothing more nothing less.”
“Yeah but…”
“No buts Blake, summer vacation is tomorrow so I guess this is good bye.” And I walked away. Little did I know that Blake was moving during the summer so that was the last day I ever say Blake and I was mean to him…I felt so bad.
Nothing much happened in third grade except I got pneumonia and people called me coconut head because of my Girl Scout hat.
