“So what are your names again?” asked Ginnger sweetly. “I’m Eien and this is Conamy, but you can call her Camy..” said Eien. “And I’m the great and magnifisncent demon, Zey!” said Zey boldly. Greth laughed at him, then looked deep into Zey’s eyes and said, “hhhmmm…..not now, but maybe someday.” Zey stared back at Greth. He didn’t’ understand what Greth meant and this angered him cause he was strong now. But some how, what Greth said stood out to him and made a little sence, but Zey couldn’t but his finger on it. After an little bit of thought, Zey rolled his eyes and said, “Whatever” Greth grunted at the fact that a demon dose not respect such wisdom gived by the old dragon. “So what do you know about Damion?” asked Camy. “Damion? He’s a vary gental man. Tho he he can be a little possesive.” explain Ginnger. “Ya so watch yourself Camy.” warned Greth. “What do you mean?” asked Camy. “You’ll see.” said Greth. Camy nodded. She looked up at Eien. He didn’t look like he was paying much attention. She laided her head on his back. Greth’s warning spooked her a little bit. “We’re almost there.” Said Ginnger. As the dragons lowed themselves underneath the clouds, they saw that this Demon Lord didn’t live in a cave at the top of mountian. Instead, this Demon Lord choose to live in style. He lived on a large, stone castle. The castle even had a moat! “Wow!” said Camy, “It’s like a fairy tale.” When they landed inn front of the castle, several big ‘wall-like’ guards with spears ‘greeted’ them. This was to be expected after all. They came with no invite and no heads up. Surprizingly, the big tough guys nicely escorted them into the castle to see Damion himself. The dragons had to stay out side, considering that 2 large Dragons could not fit in side a castle, no matter how huge it was. The guards lead them into a ‘great hall’ just in side the castle. As they walked in, all three of them spun around as if they were mesmerized by it’s magnificent size. “Hellow honored guests” said a loud echoing voice. When they turned around, there was a tall, charming, young Demon Lord. “Um………hellow” said Camy sweetly bowing. “Uh, yes. Hello Demon Lord Damion.” said Eien bowing. Zey rooled his eyes. He didn’t see the point in being nice if he was tring to take over the Demon Realm. Camy cleared her thoat and whispered for Zey to bow. He just rolled his eyes again, and pretended he didn’t hear her. Finally, Eien stood straight up, walked over the Zey and punched him in the stomah. He didn’t hit him hard, just enough for him to bend over and seem like he was bowing. “I’ll get you back for that.” He said under his breath. Damion bowed back to them in returne. With that, everyone stood up straight again, Zet still holding his stomah. “May I ask, how are we honored guests? We kinda showed up at random.” asked Camy sweetly. “Everyone is a guest in my castle. Come, join our feast.” Said Damion. “Oh, sorry. We didn’t mean to inturupt.” said Camy. “No, no.” said Damion, “we’re now going to feast in your honor.” Camy, Eien, and Zey were all surprised by this, but they weren’t going to turn down free food! They were awfully hungry. “Thank you vary much.” said Eien. “Your welcome, and I invite you to stay the night. It’s late enough already. Your dragons need rest too, no?” said Damion. Again, he hit the dot. It was late and a nice room would be really relaxing. And Ginnger and Greth flew a long ways. They did need rest and food and a good night sleep. Camy began to imagin the food she would eat and the kind of room she would have to sleep in. She imagined what she remembered from the fairy tales she heard when she was a little girl. The ones with pretty princesses. “Wow,” said Camy with a large smile, “I feel like a princess!” Camy giggled girlishly. Damion came up to her and gentally cupped her hand with his own hands. “Tonight my dear, you are a Prinsess.” Said Damion softly kissing her hand. Camy was a little shaky about his quick reaction to her words, but it was sweet. Camy slowly pulled her hand back and bowed again. “Thank you.” said Camy. “Well, where’s the food?” Asked Zey, “I’m hungry.” Everyone glared at Zey. Tho they could not blame him cuase they were all hungry, but that was just rude. Camy was going to say something about it, but Damion quickly shrugged it off and spoke before her. “Right this way.” Damion said with a smile. Damion headed to on of the large doors the were connected to the ‘great hall’ they were standing in. Zey followed him closely, as Eien and Camy followed a little behind. Damion led them down a long hallway and passed many large doors. Eien and Camy began to whisper. “So, do you really think this guy could be the one?” asked Eien. “Nah. He’s too nice.” Camy replyed. “I know,” said Eien, “He’s TOO nice. It’s suspicious. And you never know with nice guys.” “You’re a nice guy.” said Camy laughing and tring to make fun of him. “Ya, but I’m on your team, and I’m not a Demon Lord.” explained Eien. Finally, Damion stopped In the middle of the hallway. Zey almost ran into him and Cammy and Eien into Zey. Damion turned to double doors and opened both of them at the same time. On the other side of those doors was a long table, almost a long as the room itself, which was pretty long. The table was covered with all types of food. “Come and sit.” said Damion. Damion walked forward and offered a chair to Camy. Camy smiled and took his offer. As she sat down, Eien quickly went to her right side and sat down next to her. Then Zey sat across from Camy. Damion, of course, sitting at the head of the table. “So you know my name.” said Damion taking a seat, “What are your’s?” “I’m Eien,” he started, “And this in Conamy” Then Camy said, “But call me Camy.” Damion nodded acceptingly, and looked over at Zey. “Ohf, my name is Zey.” he said with his mouth ful of food. Everyone found it quite disgusting. Camy then glanced at all the food there was. Her being a human, she wasn’t sure what she could eat, what shouldn’t she eat. So she looked to and expert, Eien. “So, what is this?” whispered Camy. Eien smiled, “Well, that’s cooked and a tastes like steak in yout world. You should really stay away from those. I’m not sure what they would do to a human, but if I were you I’d stick with the meat in front of you.. It’s all cooked.” explained Eien pointing to several different foods. “What do you mean cooked?” asked Camy quietly. “You see all that on Zey’s plate? That’s raw. You see, Demons can eat raw and/or cooked foods. It’s up to the demon himself. I perfer cooked myself.” Then Eien and Camy began to dig in. As Damion saw everyone was getting settled in, he began to interigate them. “So where have you traveled from?” asked Damion. “Um…nowhere in particular.” said Camy. “We’re comeing from Butoro’s.” said Zey Both Eien and Camy gave him a dirty look. “Why are you traveling?” asked Damion curiously. “Just traveling.” said Camy getting nervous. “We’re going from Demon Lord, to Demon Lord to find out about…..” Just then, Eien jumped across the table and covered Zey’s mouth. “You must be tired.” said Eien. Zey shook his head. “Yes you are.” said Eien . Eien reached forward and hit a pressure point on Zey’s neck that made hin instantly fall asleep. “Where is he sleeping?” asked Eien. “Oh, yes” said Damion. Damion snapped his fingures and young demon lady came out. She was in a maides outfit and she was purple with scales. She also had a long fin-like tail. “Please show them to their rooms.” said Damion. The Demon maid bowed to Eien as he picked Zey up out of his chair. “This way please.” She said sweetly. Eien carefully followed her out of the room and down the hall way. When they had finally left, Camy began to explain. “Please forgive him, and us. Are travels and their reasons are personal. Damion nodded and said, “I understand. I won’t bud in. Here I’ll make us some drinks.” Camy smiled with a sigh of relief that he was going to stop interrogating. So she just smiled. “A drink sounds nice.” she said. Damion got up and walked to the other side of the room. Then Damion came back with 2 glasses. “What about Eien?” asked Camy. “I don’t know what he wants, so I’ll wait till he comes back.” Damion lifted his glass to Camy, “Cheers to me and you.” said Damion. Camy raised her glass to him as well and they drank together. After a few glasses, Eien finally returned. “So, did I miss anything?” he asked with a smile. But the smiled quickly faded and he looked around. Eien saw Camy, and she wasn’t herself. She could barly sit up in her chair. It was almost as if she was DRUNK! Damion turned and looked at Eien. Damion looked as sober as could be. “You didn’t miss much. We’re just having a good time.” said Damion. “Ya, but I think I’m ready for bed.” said Camy, tring to stand. Camy instantly fell forwards. Eien ran forward and caught her before she hit the ground. Eien pulled Camy back on her feet, put her hand aroud his neck and helped her off the her room. “Wait,” said Camy looking back at Damion, “Just so you know, I’m taking this glass with me.” Eien put his other hand around her waist as she bagen to fall again. “Are you ok?” asked Eien. “Ya, why not?” said Camy, “I just feel a little out of it.” Eien laughed at her, and said, “You really need to relax and sleep.” Camy continuously tripped over her own feet, even with the help of Eien. Finally they got to her room, which was right next to Zey’s and on the other side was Eein’s. Eien opened the door to her room and laided her down on the bed. “I’ll be right here, ok? Said Eien. “What do you mean?” asked Camy. “I mean I’m not leaving your room. Zey gave too much information. It may not be safe. “ explained Eien. “Ok.” said Camy softly, “Good night.” Eien took Camy’s glass and set in on the table next to her bed. Camy rolled over and closed her eyes. Eien reached over and pulled the covers over Camy. Then he gentally whispered in her ear. “Good night,” he said. Eien stroked her hair and couple times before leaveing her bed side and walking across the room to a chair where he fell asleep. After only a few hours, Camy began to moan in her sleep. Her moaning got louder and louder. Then it turned into a sceam. Eien quickly jumped out of the chair and ran to Camy’s bed. “Camy? Camy? Camy, wake up? Camy? What’s wrong?” said Eien frantically shaking her. Camy then woke up and wrapped her arms around herself. “My….stomach.” she said as she winced, “It hurts.” Eien felt her head. She was raunning a vary high fever. ‘What could have done thins?’ he thought. Eien looked around, then he saw Camy’s glass on the tabe. He carefully picked it up and sniffed it. “Susate” whispered Eien. Susate was a chemical developed for Demons. It was like form of the Human ‘date-rape’ only about 10 times stronger for demons. No harm comes to Demon from usage of this drug, but it is fatel to humans. Even as a half demon, the susate could make Eien vary ill. Eien picked Camy up off the bed and carried her to the bathroom. He set her on the sink, grabbed a waskcloth and soaked it with cold water. When he realized it wasn’t working, Eien picked her up again and set her in the tub. He turned the shower on cold and let her soak in it. The cold water ran down her body and began to fill the tub. Eien sat on the ground beside her and held her head up above water so she didn’t inhale it. “It…..still….hurts.” said Camy. Eien knew he had to do something. He didn’t’ know how long she’d last. He had to get the susate out of her system and fast. Then an idea poped in his head. He reached over a grabbed the waste basket from beside the sink. Eien carefully set Camy up right in the tub. “Forgive me.” said Eien. Eien drew back his fist and punched her in the stomach. He knew it hurt her, but it helped, cuase after he punched in the stomch, she grabbed it in pain. Then she grabbed the waste basket and she pucked. Eien felt terrible for doing it, but it was the only way to get the susate out of her stomack. When she was finally done pucking, she slowly picked up her head and looked at Eein. “Eien” she said softly. Eien smiled and pulled her head against his chest and said, “Frogive me. Please forgive me.” “It’s ok,” said Camy huggin him, “Thank you.” Eien sighed, still holding Camy and beinging to get wet himself. “Alright. Now let’s get Zey and…” “No.” interrupted Camy, “We can deal wit this tomorrow. Right now, I want to sleep.” Eien looked down and smiled at her, “ok, hold on.” Eien leaned forward and shut off the water. Then he stood Camy up. “Wait, I’m still wet.” said Camy. “What do you want me to do?” asked Eien. Camy looked around and said, “Hand me that robe on the back of the door and 2 towels.” Eien did as she asked him to and said, “What for?” Camy smirked at him and explained, “This,” She said holding one of the towles, “is so I can dry off. I’ll hang up my dress so I can dry and I’ll wear the robe for now.” “What about the other towel?” asked Eien, “Hear, I’ll show you. Close your eyes.” said Camy. Eien gave her a funny look but he closed his eyes. Camy carefully put the towel on his head and over his face. “Now open your eyes.” she said. “I cant’ see anything.” Said Eien. “Good. Stand there so I don’t fall, but keep that on your head while I get undressed, ok?” asked Camy. “Ok” said Eien. Camy unzipped her dress in the back and slipped off her dress. She had to keep her hand on Eien’s shoulder cause she was too weak to stand without any suport. When she finally dried off and got her robe on, she pulled the towel off Eien’s head. Eien turned and looked at her. “Ok now?” he asked. “Ya, thanks.” said Camy yawning. Eien smiled and picked her up and carried her to the bed. He laided her down and began to walk back towards the chair he was sleeping in earlier. But before he could take 2 steps, Camy grabbed his arm. “Don’t leave, please.” said Camy. “Ok” said Eien. He sat on the bed next to her. Camy rolled over and layed her head on Eien’s lap. “Do you remember the last time we were like this? Only your head was on my lap.” said Camy slowly closing her eyes. “Ya remember. I thought……I don’t know what I though. At first I though I was going to die.” said Eien, “I couldn’t move to stop myself from inhaling the water.” Camy smiled, “Yep, but your still alive.” Eien laughed a little, “Ya, all thanks to you. If I was left in the water, I would have drownd.” Eien pulled the covers over Camy. “As long as we stick together, nothing bad will happen, right? And we’ll finish this quest thing…” Eien stared at Camy. Then he looked over at the cup that Camy brought back from the dining room. He fingured she was still a little ‘out of it’ from the Susate. “Um…..sure….but why do you ask?” asked Eien. “Can you promise that you’ll always be there and stick by my side, at least till we stop the darkness?” asked Camy. Eien gave her a weird look. “Are you serious?” Eien asked. Camy slowly sat up and looked at him. Eien looked at her and finished. “Do you really think I would leave you like that?” he said, then in a softer voice, he said, “I promise.” Eien leaned forward and gentally touched her cheek as he softly kissed her on the forehead. “Now go to sleep.” He said. Camy touched his hand that was on her cheek and brought it down with her as she laid back down on his lap. She closed her eyes, still holding his hand. “Thank you.” She said, softly drifting asleep. Eien stroked Camy’s hair with his free hand and leaned back against the wall. He slowly drifted asleep thinking of the promise he just made to a human girl. It seem kinda stange but he meant what he said, and it was only till they stop the darkness, but what going to happen after this is all over?
The next morning, Zey knocked lightly on the door. With no answer, he quietly walked in, only to find Eien leaning against the wall sleeping and Camy sleeping in his lap in a robe. Camy was still holding Eien’s hand, and that made Zey a bit jealous. Zey walked over and tapped Eien on the side of his face. When Eien didn’t move, Zey tapped again, but a little harder. This time, Eien slowly lifed his head, and looked at Zey with a cranky face. “What?” asked Eien, still half asleep. “What’s going on?” asked Zey, eagerly wanting answers. Eien looked down at Camy and smiled as he said, “I’ll explain later, but first…” Eien lightly touched Camy’s face. She opened her eyes looking up and Eien. She slightly squeezed Eien’s hand as she stretched. She looked over and notcied Zey standing next to the bed. “Oh, good morning.” she said, letting go of Eien’s hand so she could rub her eyes. “How are you feeling?” asked Eien, still looking down at her. “My stoamch still hurts a little.” She replied. Camy tried to sit up and stretch more. Eien noticed she was having trouble so he helped her up. “Your still pretty weak aren’t you?” said Eien. Camy nodded sadly. Eien put his arm around her so she could sit up straight and as he felt her forehead. “Your still runnig a bit of a fever. We should get out of here.” said Eien. “What do mean? We’re in a castle, and you want to leave already? What happened last night?” asked Zey. “I’ll explain everything in a bit, but first, I would like to see Damion. Do you know where he is?” asked Eien clenching his fists. “He’s in the dining room. I just came to get you 2 for breakfast.” explained Zey. “Good. Camy, you can’t walk can you?” asked Eien . “No, sorry.” said Camy. “Don’t be sorry, just be happy your still here.” said Eien. He put on a fake smiled and stood up stretching. He cracked his neck a couple times on each side and turned to Camy. Without any warning or word, he picked her up and headed for the door. “What DID you 2 do last night?” asked Zey again as he scratched his head. “Wait, my dress?” said Camy. “Zey, it’s in the bathroom, get in.” ordered Eien. Zey was going to say ’no’ but the looked Eien gave him as he gave him the order made him reconsider. Zey could tell he was in a bad mood, but he didn’t know why. And why was Camy not wearing her dress? Why was she wearing a robe? Zey had many questions to ask, but now really wasn’t the time to ask them. So he went into the bathroom and got her dress. When he came back out, Camy and Eien weren’t there. He ran to the door and ran down the hall towards the dining room and caught up with them. “Here.” said Zey handing Camy the dress. “Thank you.” She said softly. Camy was a bit conserned about Eien. She knew he was made and wasn’t sure how far he was going to go. He still didn’t know what made her sick last night but she knew she was going to get some answers, whether she wanted to here them or not. When they finally reached the dining room, they walked through the doors, that were already open. This time, Damion was at the far end of the table already eating. “Camy, I’m going to out you down. Zey, hold her up. “Why?” asked Camy sadly. “Just do it!” said Eien angerly. Camy saw his eyes were red. She was scared and scared for Eien. She did as he said with Zey helping her. As Camy’s legs began to collapes beneath her, Zey grabbed her and picked her up so she wouldn’t fall. Eien stood up straight and just stared at the other end of the table. Staring at Damion. Then Eien became and blur as he jumped on the table and took off runing towards Damion with more speed that neither Zey, nor Camy have ever seen. When Eien reached Damion, he grabbed Damion by the neck and slammed him agaist the wall behind him. “Eien! What are you doing?” yelled Camy. Zey held her tightly and with one good leap, he made it over by Eien. Zey put camy down but still had a good hold of her so she wouldn’t fall. “Eien?” asked Camy worriedly. “Now our questions will be answered. Your’s, Mine and Zey’s.” said Eien. Camy noticed, his eyes were still red. “Now, Damion. Question 1. Did you put the Susate in Camy’s drink last night at dinner?” asked Eien. “Um…..ya….what of it?” asked Damion. Eien tightened his grip on Damion’s neck and made Damion cough slightly. “Ok. Question 2. Are you stupid?!” yelled Eien. “I know you’re a Demon Lord but…..Susate is dealy to humans.” “So” said Damion cluelessly. Eien drew back his fists and punched Damion in the jaw, all most as hard as he could. “You Idiot! Camy is a human!” yelled Eien. “Calm down,” said Zey, “It’s just a misunderstanding.” Eien looked at Zey with an evil stare. “Do you even know what Susate is? Asked Eein. “Well, no not exactly.” relpied Zey softly. “Ok, do you know what a Date rape drug is?” asked Eien. “Ya, but what dose that have to do with it?” asked Zey, not knowing where Eien is going with this. Eien was about ready to hit Zet too. “Susate is like a demon form of Date Rape. Do you get it now? Susate is Date Rape, times 10 stronger.”: explained Eien. “So that’s whay Damion was roaming the halls last night, He stopped by Camy’s room and listened through the door. He didn’t go in, I’m guessing cause he heard you 2 talking.” Zey, now realized was happened last night, became extremely angered as he clentched his fist. “Eien, will you do me a favor?” asked Zey. “What do you want?” asked Eien annoyed. “Hit him again for me.” said Zey. “Ok, that I can do.” said Eien smirking at Damion. A sudden look of terror appered on Damion’s face. Eien drew back his fist, while squeezing Damion’s neck a little more. Eien hit Damion as hard as he could in the face. Damion coughed and spit out a tooth and blood. “So……so you….you were…”Camy, now realized what happened. She almost began to cry. She never would have thought that something like that would happen to her. “Wh-why?” said Camy. “Hhhhmmmm……how can I put this, Oh. Here you go. You looked sooo easy. I couldn’t help it.” said Damion smiling. “But I’m human!” said Camy. “I know that now. I regret wasting the Susate on a pitiful creature like you!” said Damion. Damion spit at Camy, hitting her cheek. Camy whipped away Damion’s bloody spit from her cheek and just starred at him. “I almost died.” whispered Camy. Then Camy drew back he hand and smack Damion in the face as hard as she could. This left a hand shaped welt on his cheek and Camy’s hand throbbing with pain, though she didn’t show it. “Your pathetic Damion.” said Eien. Eien released Damion. Damion fell to the ground with a thud. The three stared at him, lieing on the ground, like a worm. Then Eien picked up and Camy and headed for the door, Zey walking beside them. Eien held her close. He knew she was up set, and he just wanted to comfort her. Damion watched their backs as they walked towards the door. He didn’t want to let them leave. He wanted to make them pay. He still had some dignity, but being a Demon Lord, was it ok to tell a couple demons and a human walk all over him? Damion looked around for something to attack with. He turned around and saw antient samuria swords hung up on the wall. he grabbed one and charged towards Eien. “Take this” whispered Damion. Suddenly, Eien held Camy tight against his chest, spun around, and kicked Damion in the face, sending him flying backwards into the wall. Camy was shocked to see he would tring something like that, but was glad Eien caught him. “Aw…man I wanted to get him this time. You can’t have all the fun.” said Zey laughing. Unfortunatly, neither Eien nor Camy laughed. This wan’t a time to be making jokes. Camy just wanted out of this place. As did Eien. Zey accepted this and continued to fallow them. When they finally got outside, Ginnger and Greth were right where they were left yesterday. “It’s kinda early to be leaveing isn’t it?” asked Ginnger. “Are you guys ok?” asked Greth. “Ya, kinda.” said said Eien, still caring Camy, “I’m sorry if this hurts.” Then Eien jumped as high as he could and landed on Ginnger’s back. “It’s ok. It don’t hurt that much.” said Ginnger, “Whats wroing with Camy?” Eien was silent. As was Camy. Then Zey decided they deserved to know, whether Camy and Eien didn’t want them to know or not. “Susate.” said Zey softly. Ginnger gasped and it was silent. It wasn’t that Eien and Camy didn’t want them to know. They just didn’t’ know how to say it. How do you say, ‘Damion wanted to rape me’ or ‘I punched Camy to make her throw up’? “Are you seirous?” asked Ginnger. “Who would do such a thing?” asked Greth. Convinced that Eien and Camy weren’t going to say anything, Zey answered, “Damion himself. He even admitted it.” Finally Eien spoke but he didn’t say much. “Damion didn’t get half the punishment he deserved.” said Eien. Everything went silent. No one knew what to do or say. Zey got on Greth’s back and was ready to take off. Eien carefully placed Camy in front of him and put he arms around Camy and hung on so they wouldn’t fall off. Then they took off. Ginnger was sure to be careful for Camy and Eien’s sake. They flew in silence for a long time. Finally, Ginnger broke the silence, she couldn’t stand it. “Well, we’ll find somewhere to stop and stay the night before we go to the next Demon Lord. Camy needs to get better first.” said Ginnger.
