My Yuuki Cross fan fic for the avi I entered....

He looked different, different than she had ever seen him before. Zero, his eyes turned to a blood red, his mouth open to show his fangs. He had a crazed look in his eyes. It had finally happened. Zero had dropped to a level E vampire.
Yuuki knew it would happen someday, but things had been going so well. With her blood, he had been controlling his cravings, controlling his anger. How could this have happened...
She stood in front of him, screaming for him to come back. "It's too late, Yuuki" Zero's voice said in his head, "Remember your vow. Shoot me, Yuuki."
"No!" She screamed. Everything became a blur as she began to run. She didn't even know where she was running to. All she knew was she had to run. She had to find Kaname, he was the only one that could save her, the only one that could save Zero. She could hear Zero behind her, laughing, calling her name. He was playing with her. All he wanted was her blood. "This is your own fault", Yuuki thought to herself, the tears streaming down her face, "All he wants now is your blood. You gave it to him willingly. It's all your fault." She wanted to scream that is was a lie, but she was too scared to make a sound. The only sound was the clicking of her shoes on the ground. She should have taken them off to silence her movements, but it was too dangerous to stop.
The noises behind Yuuki stopped. Thinking that Zero gave up, she ducked behind a staircase to hide. As the guardian of this school, she knew all the secret hiding places. This was one of them. Hopefully Zero, her fellow guardian, forgot where she could hide in his insanity. As Yuuki sat, catching her breath, flashbacks of Zero and herself began to pour into her brain. When he came to the school and she helped take care of them, how he always teased her when she would make chocolate for him and the headmaster. All the little memories began pouring back. Was it too late now? Would she never have her Zero back?
"You still have, Yuuki..." The voice came from behind her. She turned suddenly and watched Zero walk out of the shadows. She scooched back, only to find herself pressed against the wall. "Zero..." she whispered, "This isn't you. You know me, Zero..." He only smiled, his fangs dripping with drool. He wasn't Zero. Her Zero was gone. "Yuuki! Where are you?" She heard Kaname's voice coming through the hallway. "I'm sorry, Zero."
Yuuki raised the gun, as Kaname came around the corner.

"I'm sorry..."
