forever a passanger in my own life
simply going along on a dangerous ride
everyone else controls my fate
while I am forced to sit and wait
I wait for answers for my mind
and try to keep my patience in line

I survuve because I hope
that with all the words for you I wrote
the message I send will get through
and you'd give me a sign
that you know I love you

I try to take hold and slow down the gears
but always another question appears
I wait to be told which pathe to take
just before a beautiful lake
on one path a wait for you and for love
the other rejection, where the sewarch isn't done

so here I wait
at a fork in the road
you hold my fate
your decision untold

I survive because I hope
