mainly help you-find-to-escape

I try to-smile-and-shrug-it-off
when I'm laced in--to with strife
but the wounds add up-each time- you-bite- I'm getting near---the bone.
By rights-one-hand should-be nothing-but-sinew and bone.
Yet I still keep-loving-pleasing-placing -you-on a throne
your above-all-else-in-my mind
we'll be-to-gether-in good time.
My heart -is-void-of all stone
I don't care-if-you-bite-through to-the bone.
The high you -give-me-is-there to make-me-ignore-the strain
I -learn-to-forgive-the-accidental pain
As long as-we're-both-happy and ok
you-can-gnaw-right- through to the bone.....
