Music works! Success! Now I'm trying to find the songs that fit each character's personality. Ariya was hard, but this was the best I could do. Leave a comment if you know one that fits her better.

Ariya woke the next morning, stretched, and looked over her herbs. Yes, everything was there. She was prepared for anything.
The red-pointed she-cat gracefully navigated the brambles that shielded her den, and emerged into the morning sun.
Everything was as it should be. Azenek was leading out a hunting patrol, Merra was talking with some of her senior warriors near her den, Tenaku and Tilynka, the two training-kits were sparring in a little hollow used for training, and Sarma was watching her kit play with a ball of dirt and moss.
Ariya frowned as she saw Scaide emerge from one of the warrior dens, followed by her sister. Scaide's claw would need a few days before it was healed, and she doubted that the impatient young she-cat would wait that long, before going hunting, or on patrol. Ariya needed somecat to watch her, and make sure she didn't.
The medicine cat scanned the camp. The best choice for something like this would be one of the training-kits. She knew not to ask Tenaku. The prickly she-kit would never cooparate, though her sister, Tylinka, probably would.
"Tylinka!" Ariya called. The small tortisehell bounded over to her. "Yeah?"
"I want you to keep an eye on Scaide. Make sure she doesn't run, or anything like that."
Tylinka nodded, and returned to training, occaisionally glancing at the brown she-cat.
Ariya let a purr escape her, knowing that was one problem under control. Scaide wouldn't be happy if her paw didn't heal right, that was for sure.
"Ariya!" The pointed she-cat heard her leader's call. She hurried over. "Yes?"
Merra adressed the medicine cat. "Yuzaak claims he's seen machines leaving the black path. What to you think this could mean?"
Ariya's eyes widened, though she gave no other sign of surprise. "When?" She inquired of Yuzaak.
"Yesterday," the gray tom answered. "Not ordinary machines either. Big ones."
Ariya stopped to think. "It might be something, but it might be nothing. We'll wait, and see what else happens. If something does, we let the clowder know, and discuss what to do."
Yuzaak looked satisfied and Merra nodded. "Thank you Ariya," the older she-cat said.
The medicine cat gave a small smile, and padded back to her den.
(This is starting to sound a lot like Midnight, isn't it?)
